Harry

This is not a good picture of Harry, the Great Blue Heron, but it's the best I can get right now. Harry was across the river fishing yesterday. I had to put my little digital on full zoom and try to balance it on the front porch rail to keep it still enough so the picture wouldn't be a total blur. I will keep waiting for Harry to get closer.

I was chasing Ellen, the Great White Egret or Great Egret, in my boat a couple of weeks ago hoping she would stop so I could photograph her but she must have been on a mission. We have more of the the Great White Egrets here than the Great Blue Herons.

These are reference photos. You must read the comments to understand their meaning.

I was never by myself or in any danger with the drunk Cockney guy. Didn't really need to be rescued, but doing so made my friends feel better. Made for some good laughs, and I probably haven't heard the end of it.

It has been a strange conversation tonight. You might just think one of us is psychotic and I'm afraid it might be me.

Carol, I think you're wrong if you think you can scare the people on this blog with 'thoughts'. I think all of us here, are 'thoughts' people. One has to be pretty ignorant (for lack of a better word) to be afraid of another persons beliefs. IMO, it's 'all' good. I've said many times at TM, that we can all disagree, and all be right, at the same time. To me, that is the most natural thing in the whole world.

You don't have to worry about 'scaring' anyone around here. It's the Swamp, for gods sake.

Just lost a post about the drunk Cockney guy. Spirits didn't want me to write that...

Oh Ivy, LOL

Ivy Green said...

Oh wait, no lost posts...we reached our limit of 200. Time for another thread?

Carol said...

Yes, it is too full now. Do you have something ready Ivy?

Oh, I thought my post was lost, but it flipped over to the seconds page. I almost tried to rewrite it again, then found it over here.

Carol said...

We've probably lost some people now. It's a maze.

Chloe,

"I think past life memories are actually ancestral memories."

Very accurate Chlo, they are brain mappings from ancestral memories, and handed down thru dna and word of mouth story telling, once again as far as I know, and have read...the Aborigine told of these ancestors...

Ivy Green said...

No, nothing's ready. I been laughing too much here this evening to think about it.

It is a maze. How can you get word to those who are lost?

Carol said...

Oh damn, I forgot to put my clothes in the dryer. I hope I have something to wear tomorrow because I'm not leaving her after dark. Too dark.

Carol, Why not write a new post that says it's a continuation of this one. Pure and simple.

Ivy Green said...

Well, laughing and crying. Two sides of the same coin.

Carol said...

I am too Ivy. Wondering where in the cyberweb our other friends are?

Carol said...

I did it. Move over to the new post.

Chlo,

"I think past life memories are actually ancestral memories."

I just had a post that was eaten? some-one ate my post?

The Aborigine talk of these things...as passed on from one generation to the next...but if I remember a little bit about it-its also part of the brain mappings, that we have, and part of who we are..I don't believe in ghosts..but i do in re-incarnation..

You know, Carol, it's pouring rain here. You were right up us getting more not-much-needed rain. These dogs are NOT going to want to go out in this. We've already been wrestling with Angus over his eye ointment, and we had to wrestle him into the "radio collar" because he's scratching his eye. I think he had the pink eye worse than Meg, we just didn't notice it.

Just hit on the word home at the bottom of this page.

testing,

lost the last 6-8 post from you all and three of my own that I tried to get thru

Solar, I was amazed to read your post!
I have said that to a few people, and they always look at me like, huh? It makes total sense to me, and to find out it's been said by someone else... well, by you, is so reassuring to hear!

Hit the "Home" button to find out where all the craziness went...

Carol, I see the orb over to the left in the pic of you and your sisters. I love the pic of you and your mother together. That is how I remember you both.

Ivy, I love the valiant knight experience in the London Pub. You must have inspired his "valiant knightness" in some way. LOL

Hi Carol, I see two orbs in your picture - on in the left upper part and one on your forehead. Thanks for posting the one of you and your mother together - that is how I remember you both. It seems I remember you did not consider yourself pretty and I always thought you were one of prettiest women I knew. I just showed your pic to my husband and said you were and are a real beauty. I think the folks on the blog are right, the guys you dated were intimidated by your looks as well as your intelligence.

Ivy, thanks to your hubs for the suggestions on how to spice up my guy's chicken recipe.
