Spring is really here....Weather Or Not!...It's Opening Day

Spring will officially be here at 1:05 p.m. today, when the first pitch is scheduled to be thrown at Yankee Stadium...but will need Mother Nature's co-operation because it is raining in the Bronx now... Whatever your team, Opening Day is exciting for all baseball fans, the start of the season when we all have Hope.... Soooo...Let's Play Ball!....
And these are some other signs of Spring that we should be seeing, but so far not a glimmer of any of these colors...

Leaving NM

I promised some pictures of our mountains. These are taken through the car window which thankfully was clean for a change. Two of the pics have some white images that are interesting. They are the only 2 of about 20 pics I took with the white images. All pics were taken looking west through the same window as the sun was strong in the east. We are heading east to OK for another road trip.

It's Spring people!

These are pics of Spring. Included is my trusty old Sears Weedwacker, the pots I'm cleaning, my messy work area, the topsy turvy tomato plant I planted, and the trolling motor plugs I changed.

Spring has sprung!

Look close and you will see a little alligator sunning on the water weed. It's a true sign of Spring when the gators come out. This was the second one we saw today. The first one was a little bigger.

A week in picures

While downloading pictures I took on our trip to LV, I am struck by the comparison between what God has made or Mother Nature and what man has built. I love sitting at a window seat while flying and seeing the land below. The rocky mountains are truly majestic from any perspective. This picture was taken shortly before landing in Denver. The rest of the pictures are taken in LV. Although I believe in evolution theory, I can't help but think that God had a lot to do with the mountains. They are so beautiful
