Well, that post just disappeared. I said, I currently have three active lacerations on my hands Chloe. I once used that sharp knife to gig something I was cutting up to put it in my mouth. I put a big slice in my upper lip. Never tried that again.

Now it shows up twice. Are you sure that isn't the White House?

Ok, now I'm dizzy.

Carol, I brought your post over here. The blogs screwing with me too. It's getting weirder all the time.

Me too. It didn't say we were up to 200, but we were. This place is crazy sometimes. The other day, when my posts kept disappearing and reappearing, I felt like I was going nuts. And it's so hard to explain to others what's happening, when it gets like that here.

... and what happened to your fishing partner. One minute he was here, and the next he disappeared.

Carol said...

He's in the ozone Chloe.

Carol said...

Might have fallen into one of those black holes.

Carol, I wrote this on the previous post. Do you think you need stitches in your hand? How is it tonight?

Anonymous said...

I guess so Carol. I think I'm going to call it a night. I'll see you tomorrow.

ps ... and don't cut anything. Stay away from sharp objects for a few days!

Anonymous said...

Nite to you too Jan. I'm fried. See you tomorrow.

Carol said...

I'll just stick with a butter knife until I'm all healed and can start over.

Carol said...

I used those steri strips. They work well on an area with little tension on the wound.

Carol said...

I wouldn't go to a hospital unless I amputated something. Then, maybe not.

Chloe, I know you are off to other places. I just read your comment about what you take to the movies. I too take my own snacks. I am trying to be healthier so sun I cut up some apple slices and ate those in the movie. It was good. I just have a need to munch on something.

Carol said...

Don't you remember when I had to extract that fishing hook? I used my river rat nurse friend with his rusty equipment. My finger is just fine.

Carol said...

Chloe, maybe Solars getting the auto gased up to come fishing.

jan said...

Carol, why are you against going to have someone put some stitches in your hand. Will it heal as well?

Carol said...

Movie aren't for healthy snacks. There for popcorn and chocolate covered raisins.

Carol said...

Jan, if it leaves a scar it will just throw off my next palm reader. Might add some excitement to my fortune.

jan said...

I can't eat popcorn with all the work I have had done on my teeth. I should have lost all my teeth like the rest of my family, but I hold onto them for dear life. I am trying to lose some more weight - so I have to avoid sweets right now.

John is on the other side of the table - we have computers that are back to back. It just got very quiet over there. I look over and he is sound asleep with his fingers still on his keyboard.

jan said...

It will be easy to read your palm. She will say immediately "you are prone to accidents."

Ivy mentioned the other night, might have been last night, that there was a confidentiality agreement with her ladies night group. Somehow that seems to break the code of ethics for ladie's night. Gossip is meant to be shared not kept a secret. What is this world coming to?

Carol said...

It will be a test Jan.

jan said...

I just took John's pic twice. He didn't wake up even with 2 flashes of the camera. It is too cute. Wish I could send it. He is breathing.

Carol said...

Well Jan, at least you know he's not looking at porn.

Carol said...

Yeah, don't laugh until you count respirations.

jan said...

He just woke up. He is playing solitare. I had to look. I never pay attention to what is on his screen.

jan said...

I have been to psychics 2 times in my life. Both times what they told me anyone who looks at me could tell me. I always wanted them to tell me something spectacular. Have you ever been to a psychic?

Carol said...

I went to a palm reader in the square in New Orlean several years back. She told me I'd never be rich but just comfortable. She should have warned me about those mutual funds I invested in.

Carol said...

Jan, did you see our little White House star that is flashing. It got me excited. My geography isn't that good or I would have realized that Washington is more to the right of that star. That star is up on top of Ivy.

I'm a little afraid of fortune tellers Jan. If anything in my future is bad, I don't want to know about it. I'd also get nervous if they had a worried look on their face.

jan said...

Yes, I invested in some tech stocks in the 1990's and lost a bunch when those all went south. I am going to take a rest from working but expect I will go back to some part time work in the future. We never know what life holds for us. I didn't have any kind of retirement plan when Bob and I divorced - and I was 46 and starting all over again. I was starting from scratch. I was so glad I had an occupation that I could find a job.

jan said...

I went back earlier and read the previous comments about the little star at the White House. that is too funny. I don't go to fortune tellers either. Like you, I would rather be surprised about my future. John's son married a psychic and they are just out to make money. She died recently of kidney failure - she was only about 42. She certainly didn't foretell her future.

jan said...

I am getting tired of sitting in this strait back chair. Good nite.

Carol said...

You know what might be an interesting thing to do, Jan, when you retire. You can make a fortune as a legal nurse consultant. Someone called me to do it recently. I declined since I'm actively practicing. Don't want to make any waves. They pay a whooping hourly fee to review medical records and give advice to attorneys.

Nite, my ironing time. And then it's bedtime.

Our visitor above has some interesting advice. The second post by someone else, in another language, was not so interesting.

Yesterday evening I tried again to watch some cable news but it wasn't long before it just stressed me out too much. I wonder how I managed to do it for so many years.

Now, a little Morning Joe isn't too bad. They keep it corny enough to make it tolerable.
