Is that what you want me to do Carol?
I feel it's important to believe this is going to happen.

Carol said...

Chloe, Im happier for you than the Saints....it sure did work out that way...

Carol said...

I think we may be safe now!

Anonymous said...

We'll be seeing that play for days to come.

Told you energy had shifted.

Anonymous said...

Can I fix it, or do you want me to wait til it's over?

Solar said...

Chloe, the Saints won...there is hardly any way for the Colts to score two touch downs...but I have seen teams score two a lot of times...in football 3 min. is a lot of time.......

Carol said...

The way Peyton looked earlier was as if he already knew.

Carol said...

What was that????

jan said...

The Saints are 31 now - what happened in the 20 minutes or so on our road home.

Ivy Green said...

Jan,
Points on the board are what happened. lol

Coreen said...

That's all she wrote....

Carol said...

Wow, what a day!

Ivy Green said...

Chloe,
You had the courage. I was too chicken to count the chickens before they were hatched. lol

Solar said...

I posted over at tm, that the country needed a fresh start...a win by the Saints....just like we need a third party????

Carol said...

Boy Carol, You sure do know how to throw a great party! Thanks!

Are you seeing these babies.
Drew Brees son is soooo adorable.
He's got Emma's blue eyes too. Wow

Carol said...

Don't need it now Ivy. I guit it earlier and went back to Coke.

Carol said...

Emma's cuter.

Anonymous said...

Thanks Carol. But you know they're 'all' cute.

Ivy Green said...

Carol,
Yes, you gots to get a shirt. When I went out to get my Crimson Tide BCS Champion shirt, it was a great feeling. They opened up our stores immediately and kept them open all night...people rushed out to buy...as if there was a scarcity or something, lol.

Ivy Green said...

Carol,
I imagine there are people who are just getting started.

Anonymous said...

Destiny Carol!
Did you hear Drew say that?

Carol said...

What's so wonderful is that there were so many people across this country who were all pulling for us. We felt the love and as we see, love is pretty powerful. I wish we could do the same for the other tough problems we all face. Pass the love on!

Coreen said...

Drew Brees MVP and he will be Bacchus for the Mardi Gras festival as well....

Ivy Green said...

Drew said Mardi Gras may never end, but it has to end on Ash Wednesday, doesn't it?

Anonymous said...

"I wish we could do the same for the other tough problems we all face. Pass the love on!"

One step at a time Carol. This is symbolic.

Ivy Green said...

I was glad to see they put headphones on the baby. The noise level had to be deafening. He didn't seen a bit scared.

A peek inside the secret castle in England that has been ordered torn down. Still can't fathom how he got as far with it as he did. There had to be workers coming and going from the place.

Secret Castle

Ivy Green said...

It says he did all the work himself at night with his wife and sons helping. For the effort alone, he should be allowed to keep it. What is the world coming to if a man's castle cannot be his home even in England?

jan said...

Carol, you are so right. So many people were pulling for the Saints to win. There was a lotta love going up for the Saints tonight.

Carol said...

Morning folkes, I'm still happy and it was a great party last night. I didn't need much of that margarita either.

I looked at some of the commercials this morning and so far, from the ones I've seen, I like the E*trade baby and the milk-a-holic one the best.

Did anyone see the Tebow commercial? I musta missed that one. It really didn't bother me that they were going to have that commercial. I hope anyone considering an abortion does it after careful consideration. I don't think it was such a big deal that it was Tebow who wasn't aborted though. It would be just a big a loss if any of the rest of us would have been aborted.

Instead of focusing on abortion, they need to focus on what people need to do to avoid having to make that decision. Safe sex! I realized that wouldn't have helped Tebow's mom's situation but she took a chance and it worked out for both of them. I guess the message was, don't listen to your Doctor, he/she is probably wrong.

"MIAMI (AP) — Drew Brees says he turned to his wife when he woke up and asked: "Did it really happen?"

The Saints and their fans awoke Monday to the realization that the once lovable losers from New Orleans were Super Bowl champions for the first time in the club's 43-year history.

The Super Bowl MVP says he relishes the idea of celebrating fans back in New Orleans and wasn't expecting anyone to go to work the day after the big win. Brees says the resilience fans showed in rebuilding after Hurricane Katrina 4½ years ago has given the Saints strength.
Coach Sean Payton says when all was quiet in the team hotel around 3 a.m., he offered a prayer of thanks for his team and his experience in New Orleans." Payton, Brees bask in glory of New Orleans' title

Something interesting (to me, at least) that I found out this morning: Drew, and his son Baylen, share the same birthday with each other: Jan. 15. Also, Baylen was born in 2009 - the same day and year Emma was born (so she shares their birthday too). They're exactly the same age, and even though I think Emma is small for her age, Baylen looks about the same size (he does have a little more hair though. :) Drew Brees, Son Baylen Celebrate Super Bowl Win (PHOTOS)

(.... nice comments on those pictures too. There's so much that people have in common.)

Ivy, I read your link about the guy that built the castle. An interesting story, and beautiful place. I sure hope they don't make him tear it down.

I wonder if there's anyway to follow up on the story? I'd like to know how it turns out.

Carol, Pretty day so far, plenty warm, but I noticed it's going to be cold again tonight, and the same (at night) for the next few days. So I guess it's the same there in La.

No one will probably even notice the weather there though - it's going to be party town for quite a long time, I imagine.

... I don't think we're going to get that early spring I yearn for. Oh well, March will be here soon enough.

Anonymous said...

Oh, one last thing.

Don, I got that yoga DVD that you recommended. It arrived in the mail last week. Now if I can just get myself to carry it into the house (it's still in my car) and insert it into a player, I'll be all set.

Ha! One more hurdle to cross.

"Chloe, Im happier for you than the Saints....it sure did work out that way..."

Solar, I didn't see that comment last night (things were going fast). That's one of the sweetest things anyone has ever said to me.

Thanks Solar.

Solar said...

"Solar, I didn't see that comment last night (things were going fast)."

Chloe, maybe I should have said just as happy. The reason is that I have known a lot of people that gamble lots of money on the games, and have counted their money before the game ended...and sometimes things change, and they end up losing.....I did not want that burden on U....

The other thing, is that now U know what im like when I have a few beers....the next thing would have been....can I get u another drink...

I will have that post a little later ...was going to have it early today..but things started early on the phone, and email, etc....

Solar said...

That took a while to post again...something is wrong with my settings, or cookie blogging, have to check things out...I have to keep erasing them, and the cache history also....

Don....where are U?

New post is up now.
