The second pic is my little cooking cabinet that I put so many coats of polyurethane on. I store some of my different cooking appliances in the bottom. Before I had an old camping portable table with a table cloth on it.
My big room is up to the right of the kitchen cabinets, where you can see the light. It's up some stairs.
That's the new little couch I bought to replace an old one. I have the blanket on it so Maggie won't get it dirty when she comes running in from outside with her wet feet. I like a comfortable place for people to set when they visit and I'm cooking. I don't have a pic of the kitchen table. It's over to the left of the couch.
Coreen... I just thought of something. Maybe if you email me first, I'll be able to email you the pics. My email addy is: weaver11@mac.com. That's numeral eleven.
I'm eating one of those salads now. It's not a big salad but it's got everything except the kitchen sink in it. Baked potato with butter and sour cream is next.
I got weak and bought some dark choc Gold Brick Easter eggs today. Won't help my diet. I did cut back on lots of things and am doing my Gesele for exercise.
Over against the wall on the right I had my guys put a railing for me to hold onto when I go up those stairs. Tripping going up took out one of my knuckles
Jan, it was the easiest of all my breaks and it was my right hand and I had to write notes all day. I made a little splint but it got in my way so I took it off. It was a distal 5th metacarpal fracture. It healed well. With those three fractures, the hand, ankle and foot, I didn't even see a doc. I did get her to order xrays. I splinted my foot/ankle the best I could and kept on trucking. It did take a year to heal. It still hurts when the weather changes.
Your kitchen looks fresh with the white theme. I also find it cool to see a couch in the area. Was it there before you had the kitchen makeover? Hmmm, I would suggest putting drapes on the window to make the area even more vibrant. The salad looks scrumptious, by the way. :)

Sorry, the table is to the right of the couch, up against the windows.
I still have some touch up painting to do so I don't have any of my wall hanging up yet.
Carol.... nice kitchen!

thanks so much for trying to help me...
Renee, I just got it finished, along with a bathroom. I'll do that next. I still have a little touch up in there also.
Carol, kitchen looks great...
I think way back when you had pics of a party with people in the 'old' kitchen?...
Salad too...that qualifies as a
'big salad' any day...
Renee, I'll try to send you a test note...
Carol, your new kitchen is lovely. I like the colors you chose. Very light and bright. I like lots of light.
Sent you a quick note Renee...so far it has not bounced back...

Jan, it's all windows across one side. I don't have any window treatment up yet.
That pic was taken in the early evening. It's much brighter during the day.

Coreen, put up Renee's pics as soon as you get them.
A rail for your stairs - great idea. A knuckle better than hip or most anything else.
I had a tuna sandwich with some fresh spinich and tomato on whole wheat. I cut off crusts to save some calories. But, I had a kit kat bar for dessert.
Love lots of windows.
New post is up...
