Family

Since we are getting close to the end of a post, I will share some pictures from yesterday's family get-together. It is unusual to have so many of my grandkids and great grandkids together at one time. The time we had was too short (for me). As often happens, several had other commitments, but I got them all in our home for a few hours. The two great GK's are both walking. The little boy (Landon) runs everywhere now. He loves opening and shutting kitchen cabinet doors and exploring every room. The little girl (Abigail) stays closer to mom and dad, enjoys and loves sitting on someone's lap and playing patty cake.

All are my grandchildren except the man in middle pic and woman in the 4th pic.

Carol said...

Those are some beautiful grandkids Jan. You are truely blessed. We were down the the wire and I was sooo hoping you were taking pics yesterday and could get some up soon.

Still say the young man in the first pic is a spitting image of you.

Carol said...

But would you mind going back and telling me who comes from who other than you. That kinda sounds like it came from Dr Seuss.

Carol said...

I could go back thru all the blog posts to find out who belongs to who but it's Sunday and I slept a little later than usual and I've got a sleep hangover. Don't make me work that hard.

I stayed up late watching a cute movie. I've had the movie..from Netflix..for over a week. I just can't get around to watching the movies. Netflix is like me going to an all you can eat dinner bar and only having a small salad. I'm not taking advantage of watching all the movies available. I don't want to quit it yet. I know I waste more money on other stuff than I am wasting on it so I'll give it some more time.

The movie was very funny and I loved it. I didn't start it until very late so that was one of the reasons I slept late this morning.

The movie was Date Night. I don't know how I ended up ordering that one. Did one of you recommend it? If so..it was a great recommendation.

Carol said...

Mr. Scottyman's post was cute this morning. We think that our dogs/cats can read our minds but we also think we can read theirs.

Coreen said...

Jan, nice...I'm taking some guesses, but are the first three your grandsons...Abigail & Landon brother & sister sitting with their dad?
in the 3rd pic...And is the last pic of your ggd who plays sports?...

It looks like everyone was having a good time at gram's, so thanks for sharing them with us...

Coreen said...

Carol, if you're there, CBS Sunday morning is
having clips about animals/people right now
about koalas...

Coreen said...

Sounds like you had a busy day with people working there...hope you get the giant log
removed...I find that just getting people to
get out to do work & making sure it all gets
down is always a challenge...seems you must
be there whenever any work is done...

Carol said...

Got it Coreen. Thanks.

Coreen said...

Carol, Yankees play Red Sox again tonite & they will be on ESPN around 8 pm...CC is pitching against Josh Beckett...so if you want, no stick people to follow...

Yesterday was a day game on Fox here...

Carol said...

Coreen..these are things I needed to have done for a while now but just didn't know where to find someone who does good work without ripping me off. My neighbor with the camp next door does seem to and I watched these guys work over there for almost a week.

Carol said...

Love the cat on a leash Coreen.

Coreen said...

Hey, years ago I had a couple of cats that would wear a harness...never walked them, but
they could go in the yard with us, & not get
away....but I no longer even think about letting them out, too many dangers for them...
since cats don't come back right away if you call them...

Coreen said...

My friend in FL has one of the walkers that she
puts her old Jack Russell in for walks...

Carol said...

Interesting story about bats. I had some at my house down the road. Just at dusk..I would see them fly over when I was swimming. They eat mosquitos so they are my friends. I'm not sure if they are still there since I haven't been there at that time in quite a while.

I caught some of the Master's yesterday. Tiger was working his way up the leader board but hit another glitch. It seems that more than other sports that confidence has a strong influence in golf. Tiger seems to have lost his confidence. I think Tiger has issued himself some karma for his behavior.

Coreen said...

Looks like Pia has a record deal...let's hope
she makes it big...
Pia's record deal

Carol said...

Coreen..perfect marketing strategy. They are going to take advantage of her talent..her name recognition and the fact that many are pissed that she was voted off. Some will even buy her music as a protest against the voting results. Hey maybe her being voted off was better because she can get to the real money faster.

Carol said...

Who knows..it could be just another situation where the media is playing us all like a banjo. I'm sure AI gets a cut in the profit.

Coreen said...

And she will be taking advantage as well...
she can't make it w/o the means to do so...in this case the guy who signed her is some how
connected to AI & gets the first shot at signing the talent...

She could have gone on singing at weddings but for her having managed to survive to the AI finals...& yes those who run it are in it to
make $$$...that's the way things go...just have to hope she also makes it too...

She went on it to get that shot at fame & forturne...& she will get that chance now...how it turns out...who knows...

jan said...

Coreen, thanks for putting up the link to story of Pia. She showed so much grace under pressure Thurs nite also. She was the only one that did not register shock on her face.

It is interesting to see she has stage fright. She sure did not show it on TV.

jan said...

Carol, congrats on finding some people to do some of the outdoor work for you. I need lots of that here too and equally hard to find in my area.

jan said...

Carol,
The 2 babies are both Terry's grandchildren. He has 2 older children, Gary who is in 1st pic with baby Landon.
Amie is not in any pics - but her husband is holding both the babies in 3rd pic. (Amie is Terry's oldest and Gary is #2 of Terry's)
2nd pic is Ben (21) Terry's 3rd
4th pic is Cory (21) Bill's youngest
5th is Taelor (9) Terry's 4th
As you might guess Terry has been busy.

and yes Coreen - you have a great memory, Taelor is the soccer player. In the pic above she came to the party straight from her game and she still had some dirt on her face. She is a fearless little goalie.

Cory in the 4th pic was a great soccer player in HS.

jan said...

oh yes, Gary is 29 and Amie is 30.

If you are counting, I had Terry when I was 20 and he had Amie when he was 20

jan said...

Coreen, Just went back to see what you said about the pics. Hard to believe but Landon and Abigail are 1st cousins. Landon is 3 weeks older than Abigail. Abigail is sitting on her dad's lap in 3rd pic.

jan said...

Landon's dad is in 1st pic.

jan said...

Carol, we saw Date Night a few months ago- loved it!

jan said...

Cory, in the next to last pic, will graduate with degree in accounting in Dec. He plans to go to grad school and be CPA. I can hardly wait. After than I won't have to make those trips to see the CPA in ARK. He promises me he will do my taxes then. I will pay him of course.

jan said...

I don't have a daughter, but Cory's mom has been my DIL for over 27 years and I could not ask for a better daughter.

jan said...

If you blow up the 3rd pic, you can see me as a reflection in the TV taking the pic. In the framed picture sitting on top of the TV is John and his daughter at her wedding in DC. Her wedding was at the church JFK attended.

Carol said...

I saw that girl in the mirror Jan. I blow them up and examine each pic.

I just got home from visiting SF and doing some shopping for paint. SF was sitting outside in a rocking chair when I got there like he was expecting company. Maybe he's like the dogs and cats and can read my mind.

I turned on the Master's and see that Tiger has caught up. It now a golf game. I have been secretly hoping he would get it back. Am I wrong for that?

Carol said...

I had no problem with Tiger being a slut puppy, he just needed to be a single slut puppy.

Carol said...

And even though Tiger's been a bad boy, he is our bad boy!

Coreen said...

He needs at least 1 more birdie in the last 3 holes (2 would be ideal)...& no bogeys....Tiger
was hot on the front 9, but that eagle miss on 15 is hurts...

Carol said...

Poor young McIIroy sure had a meltdown.

Carol said...

It's a game of confidence and once that is lost...it's over.

Coreen said...

Another missed birdie...

But the back 9 at Augusta has a way of truly
testing the leaders...

We will have to see if the others manage to escape....

Coreen said...

For me, the greatest Masters was when Jack Nicklaus won in 1986 at age 46...He was my all time ever favorite golfer....& when he won that year on the back 9 roaring back the place
went nuts...Hard to believe it was 25 years ago
seems like it just happened...

Carol said...

Rory is playing like me now.

Carol said...

Too bad they can't take a break and get a beer.

Carol said...

Well, our slut puppy didn't win.

jan said...

Just had to come in and say hi and good night. Went to Costco this afternoon and stocked up for the week. It was a wonderful, quiet day. John went to church and I spent the day at home doing almost nothing. I loved it. The wind was blowing again. Still strange weather here. The high was 52 today and 33 low this morning. It is supposed to get into hi 60's and 70 this week.

Carol, funny about SF. Bill and his wife and John and I were talking last night about the close connection we have with people and how sometimes you will be thinking about that person and they will call. SF probably knew you were coming by.

jan said...

I too hope that Tiger plays well.

jan said...

Carol, I went over and paid The Great Scot a visit. I love his quote at the end of his post "the more I visit the animals the more I learn about myself." I am paraphrasing what he said. I tried to copy and transfer it. I may be a little weary tonight.

Good night.

Carol said...

Weiry, from doing nothing? Actually, I know how that feels.

Carol said...

I am looking at your temps predicted for the week Jan. That's crazy. One day it's a 40 degree swing 76/38. The other days it's close.

Carol said...

And Coreen..you might hit 70 today. Cool..no..actually not as cool.

Carol said...

Sorry about your team last night Coreen. I did watch some of it.

Carol said...

Boy that golf is so fickle isn't it. You have to be holding your mouth just right and it seems that if you're a hair off in your confidence it can take you under.

Carol said...

There's a video on Huff Post where some cop in Mesquite.. Texas pepper sprayed a baby squirrel. Some student caught it on her cellphone. I didn't watch it but I sure hope they get rid of that cop. Any cop who can pepper spray a baby squirrel is definitely capable of people abuse. His excuse is that he thought the baby squirrel was rabid.

I know that squirrels that have been fed can be pretty friendly and come right up to people.

Carol said...

I sure hope that it doesn't rain today. That guy only has today to do the work I wanted because he leaves for vacation then has lots of other jobs scheduled. We have a 40% chance of rain today.

Anonymous said...

Same weather here, Carol (as always, almost identical). We have a 50% chance of rain, but need to get a lot of things done, inside and out.

Anonymous said...

More important though is this beautiful array of pictures that welcomed us this morning (or yesterday to the rest of you)!

Oh Jan, what a beautiful family you have. Your ggrand babies are so adorable -- and Taelor is more gorgeous than ever too (plus, I must add, she looks very confident and happy too, as well as the babies.)!

Little Abigail looks to be petite, like Emma. Landon looks like he's ready to conquer the world. I've noticed that in most of the baby boys -- they're so confident and daring. They jump into everything feet first. It's not that Emma isn't daring, but she is careful. It's funny that you got a reminder how much they go through cupboards and anything else they can get their hands on, at that age. It's a real job keeping up.

Anonymous said...

Carol, Thanks for linking that comment of Nash's.
For some reason, it made me wonder why we're not hearing from Elizabeth Warren lately (since she got that appointment, which seems to have silenced her more than anything). I may be wrong, because I don't watch TV news, but you guys here used to mention her a lot -- but haven't in a while.

Especially you Coreen, you're the one who first brought this great woman to my attention. Glad to hear your weather is warming up.

I found myself being paranoid, and wonder if by appointing her to her new position, Obama actually quieted her in the public eye. I've often wondered about the same thing regarding his appointing Hillary -- if it was more of a way of bringing her over to 'his side' than anything else.

I've got to get running. Get Emma fed, dressed and off to pre-school -- which she 'loves' now by the way. A great thing about private schools, is they don't care if you're a little late. That may not matter much now, but once she's in elementary school (hopefully the same school she's in now), it will matter. We want very much to keep her there because of the small classes, but also because of the loving, positive attitude that you can feel as soon as you walk through their front. I've never seen anything like it.

I'll check back in later today.

Have a great day everyone.

(.. hope your out of your little funk, Jan -- and that your yard work gets done, Carol).

Anonymous said...

sb: front DOOR, walk through their front door. Please edit other mistakes for me. :)

jan said...

Hi Chloe, good to see you around. Yes, Abigail is petite and much quieter and slower than Landon. She has very delicate skin too. Just the least little thing and her skin gets red. I don't see her often but she knows me now. She lets me hold her. Landon wouldn't let me come close to him. He has not seen much of me. We are planning to go see them late summer. I want him to get to know us better. I am going to make more of an effort to go see Abigail. They live only about 5 miles from us. My GD Amie has said I can drop in any time - evening of course as they both work. I know Amie is so busy with work so I am going to find some little books and start going over and read to Abigail 2 evenings a week. Reading to kids is so important.

jan said...

So great for both of you that Emma loves preschool now. It is good for them to have time with other little ones at this age. They learn so much just playing with children their ages. The school you take her to sounds great.

jan said...

Carol, I was weary from the night before. My arthritis is getting worse. I did a lot of standing the night of the party (sat) and didn't sleep well that night. bones/joints hurt really bad that night. I should have gotten up and taken some tylenol but did not - so I paid for it.

Carol said...

Ratty poo poo, my dirt man couldn't get his equipment fixed but it just came a little downpour anyway. Now he won't be able to get to it until the end of the month. I was so looking forward to seeing what's under the brush.

Chloe, I think I was the one who fell in love with Liz first, over a year ago. Check out your blog post Jan 27, 2010, "Carol's getting me excited about Elizabeth Warren, so I spent this morning getting acquainted with her..."

Anonymous said...

Jan, from what I've read, our arthritis feels worse sometimes, because there's more inflammation. I think that can be for physical reasons (like you were working really hard) plus I think my inflammation is worse when I'm really stressed (is there anything that stress doesn't affect!)

Carol can correct me if I'm wrong, but I've read that Tylenol is not an anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen and Naproxen are (or even aspirin).

We've been taking one naproxen every morning and every night for years now, and we've have very little arthritis pain since we started. I can always tell if I forget it for a few days, because I'll start getting sore joints and muscles. The anti-inflammatories are good to keep other kinds of inflammation throughout your body somewhat under control too -- and there seems to be no side effects with the naproxen, not even on an empty stomach. I prefer it because it's only every 12 hours, and I can't tell you what a difference it's made.

What I did read though, is that if you only take them once in a while, they're simply a pain reliever. If you take them every day on a regular basis, then they act as an anti-inflammatory. Which is good throughout your body.

Carol said...

Jan, I've been having some mystery leg pains also. One day I can get up and can hardly walk. Both of my ankles feel like I have boots on them, stiff and painful. I wonder if some of these allergies can do that to us. It comes, stays for a few days and then disappears. Very weird. No problem today.

Also this weekend I was extremely fatiqued feeling. No real reason for it. Since I was off Friday I got most of my chores done so I was pretty lazy Saturday. I got a little wind back yesterday and played in the yard.

Anonymous said...

I think Emma may be somewhere between Abigail's and Landon's personality. She's definitely not timid under normal circumstances, but is leery of strangers, and cautious in new situations. She is a ball of energy though.

I think that it is so great that you're going to be reading to little Abigail regularly. It will create such a good bond between you, and repetition is so important in the first few years. I agree with you about how important it is to reading to them.

Emma's learned from the other children, aside from playing too. She see's some of them using the potty, so is getting mentally prepared, she's become better behaved because she's learned there are certain rules in a group setting, and has emulated other children's good behavior. She's become much more sociable - I could go on and on.

It's been a wonderful experience for her, and has made my life so much more manageable. Plus I've got her teach (whom I love) to talk to about any concerns I have.

Carol said...

You're right Chloe. Tylenol is NOT an NSAID like Ibuprofen, Naproxen, even ASA. Tylenol is good for a mild headache. I'm allergic to NSAIDs which is not a good thing. I better not get arthritis.

Carol said...

I find that acetominophen, Tylenol, is not much better than a placebo.

Anonymous said...

... and Jan, little Abigail's skin will become less sensitive as she gets a little older. Emma's has. She's just so fair.

It sure does seem like those little boys toughen up awfully young, compared to the girls. I've noticed it many times.

Carol said...

Our politicians don't want Ms Warren because the people she is suppose to keep a watch on don't want her.

Anonymous said...

Hi Carol, Your posts just popped up from no where. How awful to that you're allergic to NSAID's.

The spurts of tiredness I've learned to think of as being part of growing older. But I also get very tired when I'm not eating enough protein. I've found a definite connection between the two (for myself).

Your ankles though, don't you think you should see your doctor?

Anonymous said...

"Our politicians don't want Ms Warren because the people she is suppose to keep a watch on don't want her."

Yeah, that I'm sure of, but have you seen her on the talk shows like she used to be?

Carol said...

Chloe, maybe Liz is trying to keep a low profile. I've seen a few stories about her recently, written by others. I posted some info from them.

Carol said...

Chloe, since I've been involved in medicine, I've seen many incidents of these mystery orthopedic pains. Some have no physiological reason, that can be found, to explain them. It keeps our orthopods rolling in dough.

It could be barometric change, diet related, toxins in our environment, changes in activity level, etc.

Carol said...

I do think allergies can cause myalgias, muscle pain, also.

Carol said...

I'm listening the the news. I decided the other day a great way to fix our country's financial woes. We need to find about 100 fiscally responsible housewives who have successfully managed a family for about 10 years and put them in to clean house. We could fix all of our problems in a couple of years.

I could use one around my place also.

Carol said...

Darn, I missed Shirley McClaine on Oprah. I'm sure she was interesting. She always is.

Carol said...

Pia, of AI fame, not only has a record deal but has a new boyfriend, Mark Ballas, of DWTS fame. Losing can be winning!

Carol said...

Shirley McClaine is the first person who said that God is in all of us.

Carol said...

It's nice to realize that it isn't the teeny boppers, who can tolerate punching in a cell phone number 50 times, who pick the real winners on AI. The program gives those young people with so much talent the opportunity for exposure to those who really can identify the winners.

Anonymous said...

Carol, I agree about the mystery orthopedic pains -- and also think allergies and toxins can affect us in many ways (stress too, though). I've never been one to run to the doctor -- only if I have no other choice, which is almost never.

I've added 'Date Night' to my DVD Queue at Netflix. I'm due for a comedy. I've been so serious lately.

Carol said...

Speaking of NSAIDs Chloe, "Cherries for Health: Better Than Aspirin?"

"A study from University of California at Davis found that regular consumption of cherries for 28 days produced a decrease in biochemical signs of inflammation in blood, including a 25 percent reduction in C-reactive protein (CRP), the most widely studied marker of inflammation. Elevation of CRP in blood is associated with an increased risk of heart disease and stroke."

"According to research done at Michigan State University the anthocyanins that make cherries red could also help relieve pain more effectively than aspirin"

Cherries for Health: Better Than Aspirin?

Anonymous said...

... thanks for mentioning the movie.

By the way, I get enough for both of us at that all you can eat buffet. I've been able to watch a movie most every evening, at least most of one and then finish it the next day.

Jan, I'm also going to download the first of the series of the 'Girl' books you were talking about. I've been stuck on too many of the same kinds of books for a long time, and need to fan out a little.

Anonymous said...

I'm going to read that article on cherries when Em goes to bed. You know what a strong believer I am in fruit. Berries, melons, grapes and peaches are my faves. Cherries aren't in season yet (neither is water melon), and they seem to have an awfully short season when they are. I'll buy them frozen, and add them to my daily shake.

Fruits are plant ovaries. Still think that must mean they hold the secret to all one needs to live. That, along with vegetables and some protein.

Anonymous said...

.. like you always say Carol, better to get our anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, etc., from foods rather than pills.

Carol said...

And don't forget our healthy cantaloupe. Got a couple of good ones at Wally World recently.

Anonymous said...

The cantaloupes are wonderful this year. Got ours at Kroger's. Hubby loves them - I love watermelon.

Carol said...

Date night is a hoot Chloe!

Carol said...

Besides comedy it does have some action/suspense.

Carol said...

I have two Indigo Buntings feeding out by the feeder right now. I saw them so I went out and tossed some small seed on the ground. They are ground feeders. I tried to take some pics but had to use zoom and I can't hold my hands still and they won't sit still.

Carol said...

Chloe, even though NSAIDs are great for pain, they do have potential for other side effects. They inhibit prostaglandins that cause pain but those prostaglandins also do good things in the body, ie provide the mucous coating to the stomach that keeps your stomach acid from eating away at the lining. That's why people with ulcer disease can't take them.

My allergic response involves developing this severe low gut pain. It's so bad that I'm in serious distress. It's not in my stomach area, closer to my uterus. It's like awful menstral cramps. I figure the pain I get indicates that I need some of the prostaglandins those meds inhibit. My favorite physiology book says that prostaglandins do have some different functions in different people.

The article I linked does have a link to the potential dangers of NSAIDs.

Carol said...

Now, cherries never bothered me.

Carol said...

DANCING, Dancing, dancing! Got my dancing shoes on. And I can vote for this one! It doesn't require teeny bopper card to do it!

Carol said...

Wow, Romeo put some passion into that dance.

Carol said...

Everything will be downhill from this point on!

Carol said...

That was a tough dance for Kendra. I liked it better than the judges did.

Carol said...

That might have been my favorite of Sugar Ray's performance.

Carol said...

Didn't care for choreography for Petra's dance.

Carol said...

And her footwork looked a little rough.

Carol said...

And again, I don't agree with the judges.

Coreen said...

Saw Romeo's paso...he was terrific...

Kendra's waltz looked pretty good to me, but what do I know...

Sugar was quite enjoyable...as was Petra...

Not familiar with classical music, but Catherine Jenkins' singing is really quite wonderful...

Coreen said...

And the Kid continues to be amazing...

Carol said...

Again, I didn't like KK quite as much as the judges did and he was my fav in the beginning.

Coreen said...

Continue to think the guys are the much better
dancers...

Hines was also terrific...

Carol said...

I liked Romeo better than Hines tonight. Didn't care for the look Hines had on his face. It distracted me.

Carol said...

I think I'm scoring more with Len tonight.

Carol said...

I'm a little behind because of some phone calls.

Carol said...

I think Chelsea did well. I agree with Bruno!

Carol said...

Len likes tradition.

Coreen said...

I think Chelsea is the best of the women dancers...I liked the waltz, but could have done w/o the hat on Mark....

And Chris did a very good paso as well...

So far I could not pick a couple to leave...

Carol said...

It was very unique

Carol said...

and creative.

Carol said...

I do think Chelsea was the best so far. I think Coreen that that testosterone has and extra powerful influence on you. It's OK, it's understandable.

Coreen said...

I truly like Kirstie with Max...they look like
they are really enjoying dancing together...

Carol said...

Chris was good.

Carol said...

Don't agree with Len there!

Carol said...

I actually thought the faces he made were better than the rest of the guys.

Coreen said...

What are you on some delay...the dancing is finished already....

Carol said...

Yes, I had to pause it for some phone calls. I am behind.

Coreen said...

My finalists at this point could be Hines, Romeo & either the Kid or Chelsea....though
I would love to see Kirstie win it all (I know
that is highly unlikely)

Carol said...

I am fast forwarding thru the commercials.

Carol said...

Max didn't fall, please tell me.

Coreen said...

Testosterone overload...not these guys, but
shortly my Hawaii 5-0 guy...now I do like him...

Carol said...

I had a little anxiety attack when Max went down on that leg....

Coreen said...

No but Kirstie's shoe came undone...

Carol said...

I think Kirsty did also.

Coreen said...

Leave it to Kirstie...but it makes it all real...first the fall, now the shoe...but she
& Max did a lovely waltz, in my opinion..

Carol said...

You know what happened last week to Kirsty had to have a little influence on her. And then to lose a shoe. Not fair.

Coreen said...

Ok, since someone has to go...my picks would
be either Kendra first, then Petra...I think
all the guys live to dance another day...& Chelsea & Kirstie need to be in it...Kirstie
is everyone woman's hero at this point...

Carol said...

I did my duty and voted. Very easy to do with DWTS. Thank you ABC. They do also want you to use Facebook but they don't insist like AI does. What is this obsession with Facebook anyway??

Carol said...

I liked Romeo the best of all the guys. I liked Chelsea the best of all the women.

Carol said...

I thought that SR did much better this week.

Carol said...

I think I liked Hines the least this week. He had this look on his face like he wanted to blow smoke rings out of his mouth.

Carol said...

Now it's time to iron. Unlike Ms Jan, I hate to iron but because I have to go back and forth to the house to wash, my clothes spend a little more time hanging out in the dryer and get wrinkled.

Carol said...

What crazy is that I think Romeo is the cutest of all the guys. Yep, old lady likes the young rapper guy.

jan said...

I agree Carol, Romeo is a real dude doll. The music tonight is fantastic. Romeo did great.

jan said...

We ran errands tonight so had to tape the DWTS. I love the big orchestra. Romeo is my favorite guy celebrity.

jan said...

Ok, just read your comments on cherries. I guess I need to move to Wash state - I love cherries - would like to have them year round. i could certainly eat them for 28 days- it would be lagnappe if they relieved pain too.

jan said...

Carol, I had to quit taking ibuprofen for headaches. I started having stomach problems. I always ate something when I took them too. When I had braces I took them often.

jan said...

Kendra has made significant improvement.

jan said...

Love he singer Katherine too. What a beauty.

Bruno is pretty critical.

jan said...

When there is nothing left to take for pain, acetamenaphin is there

Carol said...

One thing I like with this DWTS is that I feel like they all kinda started with no significant dance experience. The only thing that give some an edge is their youth and agility.

I like watching the guys get in touch with their feminine sides. And Kendra. She is uncomfortable with her's also even though she was a stripper. It's interesting that someone who could be a stripper is really very self conscious.

Carol said...

I love cherries and grapes but both have lots of pesticides. I sometimes can find cherries that are organic. I don't mind paying extra for things I really like that are organic..expecially those things they use lots of pesticides or fungicides on. I now only buy that organic spinach and organic baby spring lettuce they have at Walmart.

jan said...

Sorry to hear about your leg pains Carol. I think you are so right about the stress. I do find that stress makes my arthritis pain worse.

jan said...
