Wow, two wonderful Veteran's Day posts. Very nice
looking veterans. I thank them all for their service and sacrifice. And thank you Jan and Coreen for putting the posts up.

My secretary and work horse
has been here all day cleaning. She hasn't stopped. Some place
haven't been touched in years.

Still on Iphony. It strains my eyes.

I know Christmas is coming really fast....

Yesterday I saw the tree at GE corp HQ being covered with lights by a large crane & today
in upstate NY, a 74 foot Norway Spruce was cut down & is making its way to Rockefeller Center
NYC....

Carol,Gary really looks like my dad too and people say I look like my dad. Interesting.

Gary is the father of one of my great grand babies.

Coreen, I didn't want to do a new post. Yours is so lovely. Sorry about that. I wish I knew how to post a picture separately from the post.

Coreen,

Thank you honey.!! I, we, all of my friends from childhood that went into the service (12) still get together at least 3-4 times per year...the wives pretend to get a little bored with all the same bs all of the time...but they are the ones to ask about the old times...

We are a varied group....cpl of atty's, cpa's contractors..and a cpl of millionaires...but all are down to earth....or the rest of us will knock them down....

It is just like being a kid all over again....John is my bests friend out of all of them....he is one of those ( like me) that likes to know how things work...and we have long, long arguments about them....lots of fun conversations, that always ends up with a hug and a kiss on the cheek....he is not afraid to tell me that he loves me, or vice-versa....the others don't "have to say it" it is just there.....

I have a new look that is just like your friends in the picture...my go-tee is exactly, I wear a baseball cap all of the time....but no gut......thanks will check in tomorrow.....

Love and light to all the pinks...

I think Lappy is due back today. It's been the first time i've
been without a computer for even a day. It's been both good
and bad. I need to sign up for this program by today or pay an extra
50 bucks. Other than that I
needed some down time.

Lappy's back! She's clean and she looks a little different.

Jan, it's amazing how much your grandson looks like you. Give him more hair and it's you back when you lived down here. I think he favors you more than any of your kids did.
Who's his daddy?

Carol, Terry is Gary's son. Do you remember Gary Craig - that is who Terry named him for. (great grammar lol)

I know you must be happy to have your laptop back.

BTW, Terry is the only one of my kids who looks like my side of the family. Both Bill and Terry look like their dads.

The thing is that Gary's mother looks like me too. People always asked if she was my daughter.

I have had headaches for 4 days. I have been alternating ibuprofen and tylenol. Until it wears off I am fine. I don't think it is migraine, I think it is the heavy bag I am always carrying on my shoulder. Yesterday, I got out a very small bag and am only carrying essentials and just hold in my hand. This morning was the first time in days I have not awakend with a headache. I also bought a neck massager with heat and used last night.

I am so glad it is Sat.

Solar, How wonderful to have such good long-term friendships and 12 of you. How amazing. It seems that no matter how life turns out for good friends - we always see that person as how we knew them "back when"

My grandson, Gary (in the pic above) is 28. He joined the AF 10 years ago -right out of HS as an enlisted man. He is stationed in Wyoming close to COLO border. He met his wife when he was 20 and she 19. They dated for 3 years while she was at CO state Univ. and married when she graduated. They have a home in CO and a baby boy who will be a year old 12/24. He is working on a degree- a perk the service offers. He works on missles and now is a trainer on them. They have managed to stay in his original base. His wife's family all live in Denver and they bought a home in Co. so they plan to stay there. It is surprising as the AF usually moves their enlisted people. He is the sweetest boy.
