Fantastic!!...I can see them...even looks like
some impatiens near them...but no idea what
the purple bell flower is...will look closer
at each to get a closeup of those little guys
are they green?....I think I see 1, 2, 3, 1, 1, & 1 in each of the pics...

Carol said...

Just added two more pics. Check out pic #2

Carol said...

There's an anole looking at a hummer.

Carol said...

Flower is an Indigo Iochroma. It is in the Nightshade family and is most likely considered to be poisonous. It's also in the Angel Trumpet family. Found it at our garden show. I waited until it was almost dead to transplant it. Zones 8B or 9B-11. Suppose to be attractive to butterflies and hummers.

Coreen said...

Good going...I am guessing but they are not natural enemies?...see now I would not be afraid of what you call the anole...it is a lizard isn't it...does it change colors...& are they the same thing they have in Florida or are they different...I think they call them
something else in Florida, not chameleon but
a different name...

You do have a knack getting critters to stay
still for a second...

The plant they say attracts butterflies is the
budelia aka the butterfly bush...I tried once
but it died the first season...

I have no place to hang a feeder that I could
reach to fill it to attract hummingbirds, I did
see one about a month ago near the rose bushes
on my porch but just once & only for a blink of
an eye...it surprised me to see it there....

Carol said...

You missed some Coreen. Blow up the pic.

Carol said...

I don't have any knack Coreen. I sat forever, holding that camera and took at least 50 pics. They are moving fast.

Carol said...

Coreen, they do change colors to match what they are standing on. We used to call them chameleons. I didn't know what they were until I started this blog and couldn't find them under chameleon. No one else down here knows they are anoles. When I call them that here, people look at me like I'm nuts.

Coreen said...

How many am I missing...the top pic looks like
3 hummers 'sitting' around the feeder, almost like you posed them there!....& the anole & 1 hummer....are some going so fast I can't see the blur?...

Coreen said...

I think they are all pretty cool...that you managed to get any semblence of them...they are green with red/orange near their necks?...

Coreen said...

Geckos...it just popped into my head...like the gecko on the geico ads...

jan said...

Carol, you win the prize for these pictures. They are amazing. I swear you paid them to pose (agree with Coreen). I want to go back and blow up again and again.

Carol said...

I just caught another pic with 5 in it. I also got a bunch of mosquito bites since they just came out. I'm too busy scratching right now but I'll try to add the new pic when the itching subsides.

Carol said...

I put the new pic in. It's the first pic. I wish I knew how to speed up the shutter speed on this digital so I could get these birdies still.

Coreen said...

Well about time...Yankees 4, Tampa 0, top of the 3rd....a long time night ahead...Robbie hit a 2-run homer...& their bats better come
alive fast....

Coreen said...

Holy cow! I see 5...4 around the feeder, 1 in mid-air...

Coreen said...

And hey, its already dark here...been dark since 7:30...

Carol said...

It's about time Coreen. Is that Cano you're talking about? I had my game tab up but my Internet Explorer went down so I had to close everything out. I forgot to pull up my game tab again.

Carol said...

It's still not dark here, just mosquito dark. Those little tiger mosquitos come out just before dark. They're almost impossible to see but they bite big, make a whelp and itch really bad for a few minutes.

Coreen said...

Yes Carol, Robbie Cano...through 4 innings, still 4-0....but lots of time left...

Here mosquitos are most active in the early a.m. & at dusk...

Carol said...

This morning on my way to work I heard this story on NPR. It was about this poacher who shot and injured this large tiger. He then took the tiger's prey, a pig. A while later, the tiger followed the poacher's scent back to his house. He waited by his home for the poacher to come home. He grabbed him, killed him, dragged him into the woods and ate him.

The story is written about the man who had to hunt and kill this man eating tiger. After hearing the story, I was kinda on the tiger's side.

The True Story Of A Man-Eating Tiger's 'Vengeance'

There's a book:

The Tiger: A True Story of Vengeance and Survival

Carol said...

The first link is the NPR story, the second is the book.

Carol said...

Wow, 6 to nada now Coreen. Time to get their little asses outta the grass.

Carol said...

Ivy might find that book interesting. I'm kinda in the mood for tiger eats man book right now, especially one boatman I know.

Carol said...

Now, I'm not saying that Ivy would want a tiger to eat a man, especially not her man. She's be having to fix her own dinner.

Coreen said...

Carol, never enough of a lead...look at what
is happening its now 6 to 3, 2 outs bottom of the 5th....Girardi is pacing but hasn't pulled the young pitcher yet...

Coreen said...

a bloop single another run scores 6 to 4, & Joe is out to the mound, bringing in I think a left hander boone logan....

Carol said...

Oops Coreen, Tampa's catching up. This will be another scary game.

Coreen said...

the lead is gone they trail 7 to 6, a 3 run home run...

Coreen said...

now that is just bad...letting them score 7 runs in one inning...I am not thrilled right now...inning is over but the damage is done...

Carol said...

Coreen, you got some Pepcid AC in the medicine chest?

Carol said...

Thanks Jan. We're waiting for the pics of the quilts.

Carol said...

Anyone wait to quess who will win AGT?

Carol said...

It seems the judges are pulling for hat singer. He's good but his kind of talent is pretty common, IMO.

Carol said...

I believe the most "talented" in the group is little Jackie but not really a Vegas act. She's got a career any which way this goes. That is if we make it past 2012

Carol said...

Coreen, how do they determine who plays in the top and bottom of the innings? Is it determined by where they are playing?

Coreen said...

I forgot about AGT finals...I did see Jackie
sing Ave Maria...like you said she's an 'angel'
but not a vegas act...I missed the blue eyed
soul singer Michael Grimm, I like him...

Coreen said...

The home team has last at bat, so they play in the bottom of each inning...

And now Joba is pitching in a tie game...he
has been so erratic....anything can happen...
they had the bases loaded again & still didn't get the needed runs in...

Carol said...

Do they move this series to New York or play it all in Tampa?

Carol said...

I'm really bb illiterate.

Coreen said...

Tampa comes to the Stadium next week for 4 more games...Yankees have 17 games left after
tonight...& 6 of them are against the Red Sox,
they finish the season at Fenway Park the end of Sept, beginning of October...

Coreen said...

Jorgie just juiced one...a pinch hit, towering home run to put the Yankees ahead 8 to 7 in the top of the 10th...

Coreen said...

That would be Jorge Posada, our very much liked
catcher...one of the core 4 (who are Derek,
Mariano, Jorge & Andy)....

Carol said...

Now the heat is on. Can they hold um?

Carol said...

Whew, huh Coreen?

Coreen said...

Ball game over...Yankees Win!...a tremendous
throw from right field by Coulson to Alex to get the runner out at 3rd...

Carol said...

Kinda loses something with the stick game. No outfield, just a stick guy with a bat and some balls coming his way.

Coreen said...

And the beauty of baseball...they have to do it all again tomorrow night....& with that I will go take a deep breath & relax...good night...

Carol said...

Nite Coreen. I just finished preparing all my critter food. Maggie needed a new batch of her food and hummers needed a big batch of sugar water. I have a little couch in the kitchen full of all my bags of squirrel and bird food. Everyone likes something a little different. It's almost as bad as having a house full of kids. Almost. Not quite. Actually not even close.

Carol said...

Glad your boys came thru.

Carol said...

I see this morning on the local news that they are finally showing that scary map of the gas pipelines in Louisiana. Some dude came on to say he thinks they take care of them. Now, that makes me feel safe.

Carol said...

I think it was amazing that that neighborhood in California blew off the map and there were only 4 killed. That's a miracle and, IMO, another hint that there is something up stairs watching over us idiot humans. We certainly need the help. It is those kind of things that are the most convincing evidence of a higher entity. And I want to take the opportunity to thank that entity for keeping the death count low in that explosion and for keeping those bad hurricanes away.

This weekend I watched that Larry King program with Hawkins, the Jesuit Priest, the physics prof and Deepak Chopra. They were debating what created the Universe. Hawkins wants me to believe that the universe pooped out from nothingness. The Priest, God pooped it out. Hey, in the limited scope of my comprehension, they are both a stretch. Deepak has a nice balanced explanation, that I don't understand either, but I like it anyway.

jan said...

I watched AGT finals last night and I suspect Fighting Gravity will win. I don't know why I think that. I too liked Michael Grimm (hat guy) but I don't think he is that unusual of a singer. Prince P. got X'd by Piers. Jackie was phenomenal. She sang Ave Maria perfectly. But I don't know if people will vote for her. I did vote for the first time - for Jackie.

Although I would like to see Jackie win. I think FG will win.

jan said...

Lots of upsets in the primary elections last night. The Repub nominee in Delaware is a hoot. I hope she gets beat in the gen'l election. She has run on the "abstinance" thing for all single people. She obviously has not read the research on teen pregnancy and abstinance. Folks, The Bush admin put millions of dollars into abstinance research on teens. Guess what ! Didn't work!

jan said...

I occasionally watch "Lie to Me" and there was a great scene in there between the main character - a man with a 17 year old daughter. He came home and found her and her boyfriend in her room. The couple gave the impression they were having sex. Dad was really pissed but later in the show, she told him "The good news is we were not having sex" He said "what is the bad news" She simply said "...two boyfriends ago" His face just crumbled. Then he just put his arms around her and hugged her. I would love to show that scene to lots of parents of teenage girls. I would say, "guess folks, they are sexual beings - deal with it."

jan said...

meant to say "guess what folks"

jan said...

I finished the the quilt last night. Yeayyy! Will post pics later on.

Carol said...

Still waiting for the quilt post Jan. Please don't think you have to leave the birds up. They will still be on the blog but they are yesterday's news. If get any new pics, I can add a direct link to my comment on your post like I do when I get take a pic. OK.

Carol said...

You're kiddin Jan, teenager like sex?? The reason those politicians don't want the teens to have sex is because they want to keep it all for themselves.

Carol said...

I had to go to the store to get more sugar. I've never had this many hummers out here at the same time. I might be the only filling station open around here. It's been a dry year so maybe not as many flowers around. None of the Giant Turks Caps have bloomed this year. That freeze last winter messed them up.

Coreen said...

Maybe just maybe Elizabeth Warren will be able
to create/run the consumer agency...if this is
accurate...Obama would sidestep the need for
senate confirmation hearings...already complaints from the peanut gallery...
Obama may name Elizabeth
Warren a special advisor/counsel to set up
consumer agency bypassing the need for senate
confirmation

Carol said...

Coreen, does that still make her the bossman? Sounds like some kind of compromise to me. I want her in charge!

Carol said...

It feels like Obama's throwing us a bone. I think those good old boys are up to something and it kinda has a little smell to it.

Coreen said...

Just have to wait & see if its just a diversion to passify...or the real deal...you
are quite right to be skeptical...

by the way Yankees ahead 1 to 0 top of the 3rd...

Carol said...

Coreen, I'm on top of those Yanks. Got um on a tab. Now you might have to describe some of the great plays because ya know, my version of the game leaves a lot to be desired.

Carol said...

Well, the grand finale of AGT is here. At least there's no chicken catcher in the group so no big disappointment for me.

Coreen said...

I flipped to AGT...what was that Donna Summer
& PP...only caught the tail-end...enough is enough (that was a song I liked)...my guess
is that Jackie wins...how does the public not
vote for the 'little angel'...but you know my
choice is not her...

& have no idea what the chicken catcher is...someone who won in the past?...

Carol said...

Could we consider Poppycock somewhat of a drag queen? Which reminds me of when Jan and I went to take our nursing state board exams in New Orleans, centuries ago. It was my very first trip to NO. I was 21 y/o and kinda naive.

After we finished our exam, we went out to celebrate on Bourbon Street. We hit some of the shows along the street. One was a drag show. Jan actually had to tell me that they were men. I was fascinated. I remember interviewing a couple of guys/girls.

I've come a long way since then. In fact years later I went with a friend to NO and stayed with two gay guys. They were both hair dressers and they had me so dolled up that people on Bourbon street thought I was a drag queen. I had some couples try to pick me up. I was still a little too naive for that.

Carol said...

Jan, do you remember that?

Carol said...

Some of my favorite singers tonight.

Coreen said...

Never heard of this happening...but am glad
that they did do what they needed to prevent
migrating birds from meeting any harm...&
never thought that they could die on the journey because of the skyscraper lights in NYC & probably elsewhere along the route...
10,000 birds trapped in 9/11 memorial light

Coreen said...

as quickly as they were ahead, they are not behind....another long night...

Carol said...

Darn Coreen. I'm glad they had a protocol in place to deal with it.

Carol said...

Still early Coreen. There are at least 9 innings. That's what Tomato woman would say.

Carol said...

Every time that little Jackie sings, I want to stand up and applaud. I really get choked up.

Carol said...

I wonder if this year they will spend some time with the winner. Last year when the chicken catcher won, they went to black.

Carol said...

Coreen, the guy who won last year was a singer, not very good, and he made his living catching chickens for slaughter. I really wonder if there is such a job.

Carol said...

I'll have to say I am disappointed but not surprised.

Coreen said...

And I am somewhat surprised but not disappointed...

but I am not happy since my team is behind 4 to 3 in the 9th...they have had many opportunities & just can't bing them hoem...they have 10 hits & only 3 runs....

Carol said...

Yes Coreen. They better hurry and get on the stick.

Coreen said...

not a happy camper...they now move up to Baltimore...one of my friends is going to see
them in Baltimore Friday & Saturday...the tickets are a lot less then at the stadium &
he actually gets decent seats...

Carol said...

Kinda would like this week to be over. Not a good week for me. Monday I broke a rib stretching and leaning over my console trying to get something that fell off my passenger seat. I can barely breath. I've had the same rib broken several times and it's not hard to break. I felt it pop but hoped it just bent. I knew for sure it was broken when I felt it crackle when I turned over in bed last night.

I took my boat out of the water this afternoon to bring it in tomorrow. The skeg wasn't the only damage. The propeller shaft is bent and the high dollar stainless steel propeller, I paid extra for, is bent. Don't know what might be broken inside. And my boatman said he "just wasn't thinking".

Solar said...

All is well.! Will talk a little bit tomorrow. Love and light to all......U too Sally.!

Coreen said...

What!...you broke your rib & what are you doing
for it...pulling your boat out of the water...
not a dr. or a nurse, but shouldn't you be
doing less activity to let it heal?....

Please try to take care of yourself...I know
the damage to your boat is upseting & frustrating after all your effort to get it
in good working order...but you won't be able
to use it at all if you don't make sure you are ok...

We can't afford you being out of commission...who would find things to ponder...

Coreen said...

And there is a Solar sighting!...oh wait, it was just a solar flare....

jan said...

Hi to all - and a special "hi" to solar. I like that "solar flare" Coreen.

Carol, I agree with Coreen, you need to be taking better care of yourself.
I do remember NO when we did nursing boards. Wow. That was a long time ago. I have never had a case of the nerves like then. I also remember when the gay guys had you all dolled up. You had your hair cut and colored. You never looked like a guy or a drag queen.

jan said...

Watched the final AGT tonight. I actually was not disappointed. I like Michael Grimm. I hope what he said was true - that he was going to help out his grandparents who lost everything in H. Katrina.

I thought little Jackie was a real trooper and professional when she did not win.

jan said...

What am I going to do without any of my reality shows - AGT & DWTS and AE??? Guess I will have to rent some movies.

Carol said...

Yes Coreen, or it could have been one of those meteors but I don't think there were any meteor showers expected this month.

Coreen, I didn't have to pull the boat out myself. I used the truck and I have power steering. I did have trouble moving the shift stick on the auto transmission.

But I'm not going to feel better until baby is fixed. That hurts more than the rib.

Carol said...

Jan, you didn't see me when those guys had me dolled up. I was overdone. That's why some thought I was a drag queen. Drag queens are overdone/extreme.

Carol said...

Jan, I think DWTS is coming up soon.

Carol said...

Maybe Sept 20.

Carol said...

Jackie may not be any Vegas act but I think she, by far, had the best talent. A true and unusual gift. IMO. And really I think Poppycock had the best Vegas act of the four. He could probably sustain a longer, more spectacular show than Fighting Gravity. I was getting bored with FG by the end.

Carol said...

Jan, part of the MO for AGT is to play up the sympathy factor of some of these people who are competing, ie the chicken catcher. That sympathy factor can pull um over the top. Hard to say whether granny was worse off or better off after Katrina. It might have gone either way. Some people got nada and some people made out like bandits during those hurricanes. Let me give you a hint, the more they really needed it, the less likely they got it. Many, well off, people found a way to both milk their insurances and FEMA.

It seems these days that rich begets rich and poor begets poor. And then there are a few of us in the middle. A lot less of us and getting smaller.

Carol said...

It seems the Dems are excited that the voters picked some really extreme weird ones to represent the Republican party. They better not get too excited. I think it may show that people would rather pick some nut case rather than have the same old, same old.

jan said...

Good morning. I could not sleep past 4:30. But 2 nights before I slept until 7:30. I think as we get older - I will be 70 next April, sleep becomes more of a priority.

Wish I had a good ponder for ya'all. I am sitting out on my front porch having my cups of tea. It is dark, but sky is beginning to turn a lighter shade of blue. I love early mornings before the world comes alive again. I like our neighborhood b/c we have lots of walkers and bikers going to school and work at the Univ. and we are only about 1/2 to 3/4 mile from the main campus and blocks from medical campus. I like being close to where people are moving around. I have lived in the country and although there are more wild animals and there is more of a variety of natural things going on, I like living closer to people. If I want to go to the store, I want to be able to walk there, if necessary.

jan said...

Carol, as to the nut cases elected in Republican primaries, it is possible these people could be our elected officials in the House and Senate next year.

jan said...

We are going to have a pretty exciting race for Gov here in NM in Nov. I think I mentioned it before but both our nominees are women. I actually like both of them but I have my fav of course. She is the democrat and has been Leut. Gov. I suspect the same thing might happen here, she has been in govt for a while and people may think a new person will make some changes.

jan said...

Carol, about the 10 y/o singer, the opera singer she performed with last night mentioned something about "saving and preserving" Jackie's voice. I wonder if her voice will change as she matures.

jan said...

Libera - All Things Bright And Beautiful
This is youtube of a boys choir singing "all things bright and beautiful. someone sent it to me. This is one of my favorite songs.

Carol said...

Afternoon. Yes Jan we do have some scary people representing us in public office. But we put them there. We need to be more careful who we elect. Electing these multi-millionaires always worries me. It costs so much to get elected that I wonder how much they plan on getting back while in office and from whom. There's no doubt why they don't want to tax the ultra rich.

I also wonder if Jackie's voice will change any as she ages and/or if straining it at such a young an age could damage her vocal cords. I guess the experts should know. She does have more voice than body.

Carol said...

We had this 13 yo boy bring a gun to his school today and kill himself in his classroom. Parents really do need to lock up those guns. It was probably his own gun. Maybe this will change some of the attitudes of the people down here about guns...but doubt it.

Carol said...

I have a NP dinner meeting tonight. I haven't been going because they weren't offering CEUs. Our organization won't allow a pharm co to pay for dinner if we are getting CEUs. They are picky about conflicts of interest. You think the Medical organizations would care?? Not likely. It's hard for me to get me out of the house after work without a really good reason. I'm not really into going tonight but need to.

Carol said...

My little hummers are fighting over the feeders. I have four feeders out there with plenty of table space but they just have to fight. They are wasting valuable fattening up time. Humans aren't the only dumb species. Think they are watching and learning from us?

Solar said...

Fell asleep and going to go to work in a few hrs. I have been working with a friend that owns a few trks...making use of my cdl liscense.

Carol sorry to see that you are still having troubles....I know that they will all work out for the better.

Im more concerned for you about the ones going around and stealing from your home...they need to be reported or at least warned........

I haven't read all of the threads, but trust that all is running as smooth as before.! We had a first year anniversary huh?......cool.!!

To all of you Pinks....Im watching you...just b/c you don't see me around, it doesn't mean that im just a mere flash in the pan..."A Solar sighting"

Im always around, ask Chloe. I once told her that even when she didn't see me...I would be sitting next to her....she could just reach out and talk to me....that is the power of Solar...im there like a pest...all of the time......like it or not....will post a little bit now and then, as Im, able to...I do leave the swamp on...it comes on as soon as I turn the pc on, or i leave it on all of the time...I sometimes get to take a little peek at what everyone is up to...but not often....

Carol said...

Home again, home again.

Nice to see ya Solar. I do appreciate you dropping in when you can. Hope things are going well. You are the kind of person that even if life gets tough, you'll come out fighting, get thru it and come out ahead cuz you're Solar powered.

I feel a little petty whinning about my little boat motor when so many have so many more serious issues to deal with. Hey, it was my grab two beers and pull the chute escape but every time I try to do that, someone deflates my chute and I fall on my ass, dang it.

I don't spend much money on anything, not even clothes. The slacks I'm wearing today have the hems frayed. I just don't look. Well, I think I have bought a couple of packs of cheap underwear at Walmart. They don't hold up that long. And on bird seed. I buy lots of that. And Maggie food. She goes thru a lot of meat.

Carol said...

It seems the swamp is getting a little less crowded lately Solar. Coreen and Jan feel sorry for me so they drop in to keep me company. Even if I'm alone I'll still be here cuz I live here and I'm used to my alone time. I'm OK with it. I have my critters for company. They don't ponder but they don't mind if I do, as long as I do it while I'm putting out their feed. That's how I get my exercise here, keeping all their bowls full. And they provide me with wonderful entertainment. I've had such a good time watching the hummer frenzy. It's very hypnotic.

With all those hummers I have around, yesterday evening I was looking in the trees to see if I could see any of them in their torpor, nightly hibernation. My trees ought to look like Christmas trees full of ornaments. I couldn't find any. I wonder where they are sleeping?

Carol said...

An NP from the hospital came today to visit with me to get info on how I reduce the number of inmates that go thru the hospital system and keep costs down but still keep quality of care up. She is suppose to be presenting this data to the chief of the State Public hospital system about what we are doing. Our program is the only one like it in the state.

I told her about some of the things I do but I told her that the main thing that keeps those visits down, she would not likely be able to duplicate. It would require that they find another idiot, like myself, willing to give up their life to dedicate it to their job 24/7/365. And it helps if they had a camp, in the swamp, to get away to every day to keep thier sanity. And it would be even nicer if they also had a fishing boat that worked.

Carol said...

And I whine about my boat motor here on the blog because I can't whine anywhere else. If I tell my river rat friends, I would get a lot of "I told you sos". I can't whine about it to my work friends because my roomie works there and boatman is her boyfriend. She is very sensitive and would worry that my being pissed at her boyfriend might jeopordize her living arrangement. That would never happen but she would worry. So all I have left is to whine here.

Coreen said...

Ok, Ok...can't speak for others...but I do not
feel sorry for you...you have become a friend &
I enjoy checking in on things here...even if
I haven't much to say sometime...

Carol said...

Thanks Coreen. I've enjoyed your friendship also. It's expanded my world and given your Yanks a new, rare, southern swamp, fan.

Coreen said...

Hey what do southerners know about baseball!!...you guys fill up a stadium with 20,000+ people for high school football, but
doesn't seem that BB is so popular...maybe its the heat...& us Yankees are glad to add a fan
down on the bayou...

by the way, we had a rainstorm come through
early this evening & while CT only got a good
deal of rain (needed it)...another of those freaky wind events (maybe a tornado) sliced through a part of Brooklyn NY, causing a lot of damage...

Hope your boat adventure turns out ok & not to
costly...

Now its time to get going...

Carol said...

And Jan, I stopped sleeping about the time I went thru the change. I really don't miss it.

Carol said...

I heard on TV that they had several tornados in NY today.

Boat went to the hospital this morning. I went over there to visit during lunch. I talked to the mechanic I met last week when I stood out there sweating while watching him put that trolling motor on. He's a nice guy. He was sympathetic.

He showed me the damage. Besides the torn off skeg, the prop shaft was bent and some internal parts chiped. They also had to send the prop to a place where they will straighten it out. It was just the edges that were a little bent. It's a tough, stainless steel, prop. It would have taken until next week for some of the parts to come in but I told them to get next day delivery. It should be fixed by tomorrow. Should be. I'm not holding my breath. Oh, cost, over $1000. Boatman is suppose to pay for it????

Carol said...

Barney Frank, who is suppose to be a fan of Ms Warren said:

"There's no possibility she would take something like this unless she was fully empowered to do the job."

I'm hoping he is right.

Carol said...

TGIF....I think.

Carol said...

This is the last official weekend of summer. Anyone sad?

Carol said...

Jan, Solar and Coreen, you guys might notice a difference in the weather but for us, down here, we can't tell by our temps.

jan said...

Carol, I have never felt sorry for you. I enjoy checking in here to see what is going on. I am so glad that we are in contact again. You were such a big part of my life years ago. When we lost contact, it was like a death in my family for me. It is fun every so often to bring up a special memory of the times we spent together.

I am not much interested in sports but I follow what you and Coreen say about the Yankees and Saints. I do watch some football with John just to be able to have social conversations with my sons and grandsons.

How much do you sleep Carol? It doesn't sound like you sleep much. I try to get about 6-7 hrs of sleep a night. Maybe I worry too much about that.

jan said...

I am not sad about the end of summer. I prefer cooler weather - not cold- but cooler.

jan said...

Carol, I did not realize that boatman was the guy that is the boyfriend of your house mate. I wonder if you will be able to get the money out of him to pay for those damages.
