Springtime in the high desert

To contrast with the lovely flora of the southeast, I am posting, for our pleasure, some spring flowers in the southwest. These are all flowers I have been enjoying on my early morning walk.

Lobie, we miss you

We lost our good friend and companion, Lobie, one year ago today. We miss you Lobie. We will take your ashes and spread on the small golf course where we used to walk with you. You found us 12 years ago while we were living in AR. You were just one year old and came out of the woods behind our house. We thought you might be part coyote. You were hungry and scavenging for food wherever you could find it. You adopted us. It was a lovely 11 years. We will never forget you.

I am posting some more pics of Santa Fe. Some are images in a window. They speak to me not just of SF, but of New Mexico, a state I have come to love so much. Two pictures are of some art (pottery and paintings) from NM Native American artists. One picture is of some Santa Fe fashion.

Find the pup in the pic. Again, just a space savor. We are close to the witching number of 200 comments and it's a problem trying to read them when we go over 200.
