Please don't take away my big bad gun.
I was looking over at Huff Post and ran across a pic of old Wayne La Pierre, the NRA guy. For some reason, when I see his face, it reminds me of what I think a penis would look like if it had a face on it. Hmmm. There might be some significance to that thought.
I think guns represent a kind of a potent phallic symbol. I think that may be why many guys don't want anyone messing with their guns. I think it is those men, who are most insecure in their masculinity, that need those bad guns. Those who have been the most vocal are almost trembling in fear when they talk about the possibility of someone coming for their guns. It's a kind of fear of castration. They sound so much like little boys or teenagers when they attempt of explain why they need those excessive weapons. I have listened closely and haven't heard one mature argument, so far, for why they need to have the assault weapons or high capacity magazines.
Guys, we gave you Viagra so you can keep your little gun up and running for longer, what more do you want? That was a sacrifice for some women. The other guns that you can still keep are long and hard also. You don't need that rapid fire or excessively prolonged duration. You are good enough without it.

I thought that the Swamp needed at least one..we don't need those crazy guns..post. I'm not opposed to guns that have some usefulness, like those used for protection or for hunting food. I am against those used to hunt humans. I think people need to learn to use them properly and there should be background checks.
Y'all can put up a new post.
National Organizations With Anti-Gun Policies
"The list is published by the gun lobby's political arm, the NRA Institute for Legislative Action, and while the list's purpose is not explained, it appears to be aimed at helping NRA members know which celebrities and companies they should boycott."
Hey, I now know which celebrities and companies I want to associate with.
Another reason to like George Bush in addition to the fact that he was Barney's daddy.
Letter of Resignation Sent By Bush to Rifle Association
Coreen, I don't just write off those on the right as bad. I do try to have a good reason. Don't project.
John taped that interview Dr. Phil had with the guy who pretended to be a woman talking to the Mateo Ti guy. It was very sad. Just shows how devastating sexual abuse is for people when it happens when they are kids. I fully believe the guy.
I believe if he were going to commit suicide, he would have done it now. A lot will depend on how his family "really" reacts to his confessions. I sincerely hope Dr. Phil sees that he gets plenty of therapy.

I went back to old post and wrote this last comment - do that all the time - thank heavens for copy and paste.
This post is great Carol. I am out of material.
Jan, I totally agree with you in that he was telling the truth. I worry about when all the attention fads. He put his soul out there for everyone to see.
DIL is doing 99% better. She is now responding. Still is not walking on her own or feeding herself. They are going to keep her in hosp another week. She really could be in a rehab unit now but univ hosp does not have one. She is still in step down ICU but I think in a day or two they will move her to a regular room. Family goes up and feeds her every meal. She is getting good care.
Carol, she may have been in a coma for about 24 hours because there was a period of time that she only responded to pain.
Dr. Phil does take care of those he interviews. He puts them in touch with the best help. I felt so bad for the guy. Sexual abuse as children, particularly by family or close friends is the worst kind of thing that can happen to people. They never get over it even with good therapy.
Jan, did you see both days of the interview? The second day was more interesting than the first.
One thing that was interesting is that these government experts said that the female voice couldn't possibly be coming from the guy. Then they had him do it behind a screen and there was a little more of a match. Then they had him do it over the phone and there was almost a perfect match. So much for those voice experts.
They had his parents on the second show. I liked them.
Carol, I love your post. I just read the whole thing and read it to John. He says "It is beautiful."
How is her daughter dealing with her mom's condition? I hope it would get her to focus more on her mom than herself.
Tell John, that I can't wait to meet him.
Carol, Can I take some of your post and put it up on my FB page. I think it is priceless. I won't put your name with it unless you say I can.
Carol, you are a genius!
Carol, I only saw the 2nd day. Did not see the 1st.
Jan, this is your blog as much as it is mine. This is a team effort. Do whatever you want.
John wants to meet you too.
Just don't get your hopes up too high. He is nothing like Bob.
I didn't want to show any disrespect for penises by saying that Wayne look like one with a face. I find most of those organs attractive but more attractive if they have a little covering over them so to leave something to the imagination.
I wouldn't expect John to be anything like Bob.
I most often preferred doing exams on men than women. Don't like dark places. I preferred male patients to female patients for multiple reasons.
Carol, I shared your 2nd and 3rd pararaph. I did not share the 1st one about LaPierre. I love that but did not want to put a specific name out there.
Cool.
LOL - disrespect for penises.
I prefer caring for women. The only males I want to take care of are babies and children. Once they reach adolescence, someone else can take care of the.
I like males but not as a care provider.
And Jan, the second day of the interview was much better than the first.
Punxsutawney Phil didn't see his
shadow....EARLY SPRING! Whoopee!
Guess this would be the result of your 'cold turkey TM withdrawal'...
Not to fear though it should only be temporary, you did get the email that TM is being redone & that there was no nefarious motives involved...paranoia notwithstanding...
Staten Island Chuck didn't see his shadow, but CT Chuckles VIII did...so we will just have to see...
We have taped Groundhog Day - the movie with Bill Murray. It is a very interesting movie. In our Dream Intensives we watched the movie as a group last session and did some Jungian analysis with the movie. We looked at the changes that took place in the character, Phil, over the process of time. It was very interesting. We also looked at each character in the movie as to their part in the movie and their effect on Phil. Interesting that the main character was named "Phil" just like the little groundhog.
If you have never watched it, it is worth a look.
DIL's daughter, the one with eating disorder, is doing pretty well. She has been coming up to hosp and staying with mom several hours in afternoon every day. She will feed her and clean, brush and braid her hair. She has been picking up at school and looking after her little sister evenings and getting her to activities. She almost freaked out the day that her mom was not responding. I think it has actually been good for her and taken some of the pressure off her. For one thing, one of her issues has been that she feels mom has been very controlling with her now. Well, that of course has changed.
I always felt Groundhog has not had much effect on us here as GD is a northeastern influence rather than a southwestern one. But still fun to keep an eye on this -for us.
Spring is already here in La and all my body parts are loving it.
I'm sure we will have some setbacks though.
Wouldn't it be great Jan, if you DIL's illness has a positive influence on her daughter? I pray that it does.
Coreen, you mean it wasn't the Chloster and I that took down TM, with our attempted posts? We were kinda basking in the power we thought we had. LOL.
Everyone is invited over to our house Coreen until TM is back up and running but no way to notify them. I could even fix up some appetizers and we could all watch the big game, er, I mean those big commercials.
I went into my bookmark of TM and saw it is not available. Wouldn't you know, this is just when I started reading it. Bummer! I didn't get to see what you all were talking about here.
Jan, TM will be back. It's undergoing some type of construction.
And speaking of penises, weren't we, they were the subject of some of my best work related prof meeting stories. Now don't feel bad, the guys wearing the penises involved in those stories would have been very proud of those stories also. LOL
Jan, I went to your Facebook and saw the post you put up. I noticed that it is the only post on the entire page that has no option to share. Do you think that Facebook is doing some censoring???
Sorry, after future review, other original comments also don't include a share option. It's only on comments that were shared from another place. Weird.
I think it is weird too about the "no share"
BTW Bruce Rogers is my nephew (my late brother's son). His mom defriended me on FB over a post I put up. My brothers sons (3) are all super christians and super republican. My brother has one daughter and she is the only one that talks to me. She is a sweetie - not at all like her brothers. Actually the youngest son is ok. He and I get along fine. Guess what, the oldest son (my nephew) is a physician - and a prick.
"My brothers sons (3) are all super christians and super republican."
Figures. No need to try to talk any sense into them. You're wasting your breath. It's part of their programming, you can't fix that.
I agree. I am on FB with all 4 kids but I seldom respond to anything they say and they do not often respond to what I say either. I was surprised Bruce responded. He is actually a sweet guy except when it comes to politics. My brother got into this same super christian stuff (fundamentalist) I could hardly be around him sometimes. Its all he could talk about. His wife is like that now but a few years before he was killed in the accident, she was in the bars all the time. She now is real judgmental, and super christian.
No offense to Christians because I consider myself one also. The Jesus who I know wouldn't be very proud of many who claim to follow his teachings. Ironic, isn't it? He was so non-judgmental.
It's those religious fundamentalist who have turned people away from religion and Christianity. Who'd have thunk?
I agree Carol. It is the fundamentalists in all religions who think their religion is the only one and who kill and maim in the name of their religion - whether it be Christian or Muslim or others - these are the ones that are driving our young people away also. When I say super christian, I mean fundamentalists and the far right who use religion in this way.
I understand exactly where you're coming from Jan and I agree. We just have to keep it in prospective.
Carol, you might want to read the post in FB again. I may have started wwI in my family.
Remember your wise advice from a while back?? Don't put opinions out there unless you are prepared to get shot at. And there's some serious weaponry out there now a days. Get out your bullet proof vest sister. Sticks and stone may break your bones but bullet will kill ya.
I didn't see any new comments though. Maybe I can't see what you can.
Carol,
I think Craig sold the rights to Craigcrawford.com (the rights to the HTML address). I've heard of people doing that before. It looks like it's going to be some other type of business.
I wouldn't count on Craig coming back. He has all our email address and would have let us know what's going on.
Plus there's nothing on his facebook or twitter, which is usually the way he notifies us of a site down.
I think he flew the coop (although it will be nice if I'm wrong).
Do you have Jamie's blog site address? I don't. I bet she'd know -- I just never bookmarked a link to her site.
Chloe, it says the site is under construction. I think if he was going to make a major change, he would have said something.
I looked on her site and there's nada. It's Durward Discussion.
http://jdurward.blogspot.com/
Here's Craig's email to TMers...
Didn't you guys get it?...
TMers,
looks like the site will be down all weekend. Network Solutions techs having trouble with latest Wordpress update, which seems to have been released before all the bugs worked out. They expect to have us back up my late Monday or Tuesday.
Craig
When you donate to Craig by credit card, he also emails a thank you for the donation...
Coreen, I usually get emails from Craig everyday but not this time. Maybe Chloe and I ARE on his poop list.
Maybe I accidentally deleted it. I usually don't read those emails.
Not likely...maybe just not in his current email list...
Those emails that come daily announce the topic of the day...
Not a problem to NOT be on someone's email list. I get too much dang crap as it is.
" Maybe Chloe and I ARE on his poop list. "
You may be right Carol. Thanks for letting us know Coreen.
I get thank you's too when I donate. I guess I could have deleted it without looking too, but I don't think so. I have a couple of email addresses he sends me email too.
I'm glad to hear I was wrong.
As far as the website, Chloe you
mentioned that you didn't think it was that costly...from my own experience, from the creation of a website, the hosting, the registering of domain names,(mine has 13 domain names associated with it) the maintaining of it...continuous costs...any additions/changes also require costs...so it is not surprising that Craig may seek donations, especially since don't know if he is currently employed...
Anyone watching football tomorrow? Anyone have a fav? Mine is NO and I'll just have to settle that that is where they are playing.
All the game programs are full of stuff on food.
Yes Carol, will watch the super bowl or at least off & on...have no interest in either team...
hope to see the anhauser bush ad with the new babt clydsedale...some of the ads already available...
My fav film just started on tcm, casablanca...
Know you are a distance from NO Carol...but pretty sure you must have had a 'king cake' at some time...did you ever get the piece with the baby...this goodie probably a bit to sweet for my taste...
This piece has lots of bits & pieces of NO history...purple, green & gold...a must have...
A city drenched in sugar
and now the maltese falcon...
Sister, King Cake is all over La. The grocery stores are lined with it, with every conceivable stuffing inside. My fav is vanilla pudding or chocolate. They really are way too sweet for me so I don't buy any. Way too many calories too. I'm not into really sweet stuff. If you are sharing a king cake with a group and you get the baby, and you don't choke on it, you have to buy the next king cake. New Orleans may be what people know more about but south La, and most of the rest of it, are pretty much the same.
I'm going to check out this House of Cards on Netflix.
"House of Cards is a political drama television series developed for American television by Beau Willimon for the streaming network Netflix. The series stars Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood, a ruthless politician with his eye on the top job in Washington, D.C. It is an adaptation of the previous BBC miniseries of the same name." Wiki
Read the review going through the last couple of days NYT...
“House of Cards,” however, is probably seen best one episode at a time. It’s a delicious immorality play with an excellent cast, but the tempo is slow and oddly ponderous — a romp slowed down to a dirge.
Political animals that slither
I finished the first episode. It's interesting. I really wasn't always sure who were the good guys and who were the bad guys. I think they are all bad guys. The article you linked helped. Thanks.
Did ya hear the one about the President, skeet shooting and the pic of him shooting? There's been a little dust up going on. It seems someone asked Obama if he ever shot a gun and he said yes, we shoot skeet at Camp David. Well, since he never talked about that before and never showed anyone a pic of him doing it, they assumed he's a liar. Well, his people did come up with a pic of him shooting this long gun. pretty macho looking pic.
I just bet that's not the only long gun Obama has. It kinda depends which half of his ethnicity got the best of him..or, I mean which half the best of him got. I'm here to tell ya that there is something to that rumor. At least in my professional experience I've noticed that there seems to be. It's not that I was paying that close of attention to that area, I really didn't have to, it kinda stood out, literally.
You didn't ask but I thought that I might share one of my stories with y'all. A lady may not ask but this lady will still tell. The names have been changed to protect the innocent and to avoid any HIPPA violations.
When I worked at the prison, the job before my last one, I had my own little surgical room. It was nice. At my last place I almost had to set up a picnic table to do any small surgical procedure.
In any place where you have lots of people in close sweaty quarters, you will also have lot of abscesses. It's a given. I'm talking about those boils. It was a pretty frequent reason for a guy to come to medical. I only had guys at the prison. It was a male prison.
We frequently had to lance those abscesses because antibiotics just won't get to the abscess even though it will help to keep it from spreading. One day, I had this guy come in with an abscess in his pubic hair area. It was very close to his thing, if you know what I mean.
I set him up on my surgical table and covered the area surrounding the boil with a paper drape. I was in deep focus on lancing that boil when something kept pushing my hands away from the surgical site and with pretty good force. It took me a couple of minutes to recognize what was going on. The dude was having an erection under the drape and it was pushing me away from my surgical site. When I finally realized what was happening, I looked at him and said, you better get that thing outta my way or it just might get accidentally cut off. He reached under the drape and got it under control.
I had to laugh...because I never thought that having a boil lanced would be an erotic experience. I guess those poor fellows were pretty hard up for an erotic experience, literally.
I just finished watching Casino Jack which gives insight into all the corruption going on in Washington and with almost everyone involved in the money that exchanges hands with them. It is sooo ironic that I took care of poor slobs, with nothing, who were arrested for walking through their own hoods with a piece of a joint behind their ears. They represent a significant number of people across this country. They spend a considerable amount of time in the slammer for that while those committing crimes that involve gazillions hardly have a delay in their golf game. That really bothers me and it should bother everyone else also but y'all didn't have to see it. Outta sight, outta mind. Life ain't fair. Do you think the score ever gets settled? I doubt in this life but does it ever get settled? I would love to know the answer to that.
" I took care of poor slobs, with nothing, who were arrested for walking through their own hoods with a piece of a joint behind their ears."
That's always bothered me, Carol They have zero tolerance in this state too, and I don't really agree with it (as long as they aren't doing anything that can harm others).
Unless things have changed, that wouldn't happen in Ca. They had some type of under one ounce only being a ticket (I'm not looking it up, so it could have changed).
I think some times they pick these guys up that do something little, because they've done something bigger though, and they can't prove it.
Regardless, I agree: 'Life ain't fair'. Never has been. All we can do a lot of times is play the hand we were dealt. Maybe that's the whole idea... to see what we can do with it.
I'm glad you brought up "Casino Jack" and "House of cards".
I saw them advertised when I pulled up Netflix the other day but couldn't remember the names.
I'm going to try them. If I don't like them, I'm pretty sure Glen will.
You've reminded me when you pointed out how unfair life can be about how much that bothered me when I was younger.
The thought of all the 'injustice' in the world has caused me a lot of pain in my life. Maybe I was just looking for something to be depressed about, but it sure has made me sad. I've accepted it now and try not to think about it much, but every so often it slaps you in the face and is impossible to ignore.
Those prison jobs had to be real eye openers and I'm not surprised at how difficult they were to deal with. Glad you're away from it for a while.
Jan,
Glad to hear that your DIL is doing better, and that it has brought out the best in your oldest grand daughter.
I hope you keep us posted.
"At 9:30 a.m. Dec. 14, the issue of school security in the United States changed forever as a lone gunman shot his way into Sandy Hook Elementary School and killed 20 children and six adults.
Communities including Orange, Milford, Seymour and North Haven are considering hiring armed police officers to patrol schools. Seymour High School already has added a school resource officer, while North Branford approved $137,000 to hire six armed security guards at town schools."
Connecticut schools making security a priority after Newtown shootings
There was a security guard at at least one of those shooting scenes and that didn't help. They would need to fence the perimeter of each school, have cameras monitoring all of it, and then have a scanner to make sure no one brought in a concealed weapon and then hire a security guard. That might work. They bitch about teacher's salaries??
Send the bill to the NRA.
Chloe, I think you would like both of those shows.
And it's not that the inequality of justice just ain't fair...it's costing all of us a bundle. I vote we put our money on putting the big crooks in jail, dang it.
And maybe if they made pot legal, some of those shooters might have been just too mellow to carry out all that mayhem.
Carol, I love your stories. I had to tell the one about lancing the dude's abscess to John. He got a big laugh too.
How sad that teacher's salaries are so poor and now they will pay big bucks to law enforcement to guard schools. And we all know this will not end the violence. The nut jobs out there will still get guns and find some school or other place to do their violence.
I am for legalizing pot. John has been for this much longer than me. Pot is not worse than alcohol and probably not as bad. I say lets legalize it and tax it.
Do any of you guys like spicy food? If you do, what do you use to make it spicy. If you think it may hurt your stomach, I heard once that they did endoscopy and checked the effect of hot peppers on the lining of the stomach and checked the effect of one aspirin. The pepper did nada, the aspirin left a black mark.
Some health benefits:
"The capsaicin found in hot peppers help burn fat by consuming energy, also known as fat. While this doesn’t mean that you should just start throwing back jalapeno peppers, it does mean that the occasional boost of the hot stuff can significantly increase your fat burning."
"One of the heart health benefits of hot peppers is thanks to capsaicin and vitamins A & C. Hot peppers aid in the dissolution of fibrin, a necessary component for blood clots. These vitamins also strengthen blood vessels, which helps them adjust to fluctuations in blood pressure."
"The capsaicin in hot peppers may have an unexpected health benefit as an anti-inflammatory; headache and migraine relief. Because of its anti-inflammatory properties, hot peppers may also be able to reduce swelling associated with arthritis and asthma."
http://www.fatburningfurnace.com/blog/hot-pepper-nutrition-facts-%E2%80%93-health-fat-burning-benefits-of-hot-peppers/
Jan, I think men like my penis stories more than women do.
Why I brought up hot peppers...it's because they are talking about New Orleans food on TV.
Maybe we ought to just tax the hell outta those guns like they do cigarettes, alcohol and other dangerous stuff. Let the tax income pay for the protection.
Foods here are made hot by chili peppers - they call them "green chili's or red chili's" and by jalopenas. Some chili's are hotter than others. Green chili's, if left to hang longer, become red chili's and it is my impression that red chili's are hotter than green chili's. Whenever you order new mexican food here, they always ask "Do you want red or green? Meaning red or green chili's. New Mexican is not the same as tex mex food. Green chili sauce is a sort of pale green and red chili sauce is a deep red and thicker. Most people here have their preferene. Mine and John's is green but all of Terry's family's is red. Red chili sauce is the the thickness of gravy and old time New Mexicans have a big pot of it at christmas and put it on everything.
Almost all chili's you buy frozen or in a can here will specifiy "mild" "medium" or "hot" I do not recommend any gringo buy "hot."
Most chili's grown here in NM come from a town called Hatch, NM. If you buy some at the store, you most often will see Hatch, NM
I agree about the tax Carol. that may be the answer. If they are taxed really high, maybe some of the nut jobs (excuse the term), would not be able to afford them.
I'm sure the cons would be against the tax Jan. Theyre against everything, well at least everything that makes sense . I decided that cons are a better name than conservatives. Just fits better.
I'm out at the camp on iPhone. I'm trying to reload my kitchen. It may take a while.
Great program on about New Orleans, football and the Saints.
Jan, we all shared the Saints super bowl win here at the Swamp.
Jan. my first trip to New Orleana that I remember was with you to write our nursing.boards. Do you remember that? We chatted with some drag queens at this little dive in the Quarter. You had to tell me they weren't women. I was still naive back then.
I often deseed and chop up jalopenias to put on my food. I like the heat and the flavor.
They use a lot of Tabasco pepper sauce here. They have a plant on Avery Island, SW La. Big sis and I visited it. There's a neat bird sanctuary there also. I see more of La when big sis visits.
Carol, we visited Avery Island when Steve was about 3 or 4 years old. There was a big old gator sunning himself. Talk about naive. We all walked up to it. It had one leg torn off. We thought it might be dead. All of a sudden it started moving and opened its mouth. We all took off. I thought we would not be able to catch Steve. He could run fast then.
Carol, I was just telling John about taking or RN boards in NO. I remember sitting in the room and doing the exams and don't remember much of anything else. I do remember the relief of getting it done. I remember you there with me. Who else took them at that time?
We were the only two who took boards then. We were a semester behind the others. The reason I was, was because that dang curriculum took 4 years and all summers in between. I didn't go the first summer, so I had to go the last summer to get all my hours. Our degree programs included 141 hours. They had to cut 20 of them out later, it was way too many. I think we also had a degree in psych by today's standards.
Anyone have a fav pick for the super bowl today? I think I'll go with the Ravens. Doesn't that guy from that movie that I can't remember the name of, play on their team? The movie with Sandra Bullock. They are also the underdogs and I pull for underdogs. I'll be leaving them anyway, to watch DA. I'll record the rest to see the commercials and/or any wardrobe malfunctions or lip syncing. Never know. Also, a little peeved about that SF player who said he wouldn't play with any gay guys. And he plays for SF??
The movie that I couldn't remember was The Blind Side and it was Michael Oher. Does he still play? I liked that movie. Saw it several times.
Started the intro to the pre game show with my fav QB ever....gotta luv it...
now I need to see the bud ad with the young clydesdale...I think they are calling it bloodlines...
bud ad is called 'brotherhood'....
We won't do anything to try to prevent another slaying but we'll let those little school mates of the slain children sing at the super bowl. Not good enough, in my book.
Who was you fav Coreen. I had dozed off.
I bet Alicia is glad she's in NO and not somewhere cold with that dress.
Pretime show was inspiration. Alecia one of my fav singers.
It would be more fun if the Saints were in it.
I have to remember that I here to see the commercials and not get up for food when they come on.
OH gross. That model said that the geekie looking guy was actually a good kisser. Go Daddy commercial.
so far all the ads..plain sucked..
audi kid at the prom, hundayi, a bunch of fat kids, no idea what that was, go daddy kiss....really sucked...m&m dumb, what was with the doritos goat, think that was a winner of something, but what i have no idea..
that would be joe namath, my forever fav qb...
I thought so but I didn't see him Coreen. Musta missed him
the very beginning he narrated the opening when they played we will rock you with pics & comments of past sb heroes...
Another observation about the ads...lots of aggression in many forms...the oreo ad...
how much do these 30 sec ads cost...
I heard 4 million for 30 secs.
Its difficult when I have no team to root for, not excited....but I do like all the passing by the QB...I love a razzle/dazzle, hi flying passing game...
We can watch the tight ends..
Here you can see the ads...& the Clydesdale ad is one of their best...
Big game ads
I liked the Skechers commercial best so far.
Well, this was kinda unexpected, wasn't it? I'm talking about the score.
Well, I think I'm over this super bowl stuff. I'm headed to DA for the evening.
Beyonce did great.
Who forgot to pay the light bill?
Oh my...the superdome lost 1/2 its
power...
The Beyonce show, girlpower, she ranks right at the top of good performers...it looked not live, the way it was filmed in contrast to the game itself & her voice was difficult to understand...
As far as the game...they rarely live up to the hype...
Live performances are like that. Maybe she blew the power.
I heard sport's guys say that it probably wouldn't be that exciting.
"Sylvester Stallone Supports Gun Control: 'Bullet To The Head' Star Doesn't See Value In Assault Weapons"
Story at Huff Post
Interesting religion discussion on DA.
DA was good tonight. Can't wait until Jan gets a chance to watch it.
I see that SF is trying to catch up. Did I miss anymore excitement, voodoo or something?
Now, I liked the stain on the jersey commercial.
Cannot wait for DA. It comes on at 9 pm here which is 10 pm at your house Carol.
You didn't miss anything - it is just now getting interesting.
It's good. Loved it. The women take a stand! Several of them.
Other good news also.
Too bad for SF but their in NO, that will help them forget about it for a little while.
I too loved DA tonight. I got so tickled when The Earl of Grantham demanded that all the women of his house leave Mrs. Crawleys and they all refused, even his mother.
I felt bad for the doc that he is having to tell a lie. Is there ever a time with the Means is justified by the End. The means being the doc telling a lie and Cora falling into her husband's arms and they grieve the loss of their daughter together. Time will tell.
I am glad Bates is coming home.
