To all veterans and those who serve to keep us free today...Thank you all...He is a hero to all of us who know him....Many thanks Michael....& to all who continue to serve & protect....

Billy has been my friend for a long time....he couldn't believe I still had pics of him that he had sent me way back then...Now he is semi-retired & gets to play golf...
Michael is still in the military, he is the father of the trick or treaters, now stationed
in North Carolina...he has been to both Iraq &
Afghanistan...his wife is my best friend's niece, who I have known since she was a child...
I posted a picture of my grandson, Gary, who is serving in the Air Force in Wyoming.
Coreen, I posted it and it appeared at first at the top of your Veteran's Day post. Now I can't see it.

Thank you honey.!! I, we, all of my friends from childhood that went into the service (12) still get together at least 3-4 times per year...the wives pretend to get a little bored with all the same bs all of the time...but they are the ones to ask about the old times...
We are a varied group....cpl of atty's, cpa's contractors..and a cpl of millionaires...but all are down to earth....or the rest of us will knock them down....
It is just like being a kid all over again....John is my bests friend out of all of them....he is one of those ( like me) that likes to know how things work...and we have long, long arguments about them....lots of fun conversations, that always ends up with a hug and a kiss on the cheek....he is not afraid to tell me that he loves me, or vice-versa....the others don't "have to say it" it is just there.....
I have a new look that is just like your friends in the picture...my go-tee is exactly, I wear a baseball cap all of the time....but no gut......thanks will check in tomorrow.....
