The LSU win will be overshadowed by the emerging PennState scandal....(naturally already a hot topic on NYC sports talk)...to be continued...

Paterno's asst...def. coordinator who 'retired' in 1999 with full benefits...arrested 8 counts sexual abuse of minors...over many years...there is a 23 page indictment online (according to NYC
sports talk this a.m.)...

What happens to the Pennstate coach Joe Paterno...when did he know, what did he do, how did the entire univ. handle it...don't be surprised that they essentially swept it away
by the retirement of Sandusky...& now it comes back to bite them all with his arrest....

How much press will be descending on State College by tomorrow??!!....

I saw this on new this morning. Too bad for Paterno. He has been considered an all-time great in football.

jan said...

...and I have not been one to follow sports.

jan said...

Coreen, this is going to be a huge scandal. When it involves young children I am one who wants them hung up by their cahones. If Paterno knew and protected him- shame, shame on him.

jan said...

BTW Carol, Darth is John.

jan said...

Coreen, I just read the news statement and it did say Paterno reported what he knew to the athletic director. So maybe Paterno is off the hook.

jan said...

Donde esta usted Carol?

jan said...

Where are you Carol?

Carol said...

Thank you guys. I've just been being a slug today.

Love the pic Jan. If John is Darth, who are the two Norsemen and how much candy did they scare up?

Carol said...

Coreen, I did hear a little blurb about that scandal breaking yesterday afternoon when listening to sport's radio. They didn't say much. I guess they didn't want to ruin the day. I'll bet there were more than a couple of people who knew and kept it quiet.

Carol said...

I was wondering who his victims were. I just read that some were underprivledged kids he worked with. I guess that's why it took so long.

jan said...

The news report I read was that they were 8 and up year old boys who were at risk kids.

jan said...

Carol, the 2 Norsemen are young men who are part of the ski team at univ of NM. One is from Austria and the other one from Norway. They are 2 of the cutest and friendliest young men. They are renting the house next door. There are 2 other young men -one from Oregon and the other from Colo. They are nice young men too but these 2 are my favorites.

jan said...

All your teams won this weekend Carol. Congrats.

Carol said...

Jan..I bet your neighborhood is pretty cool to live in.

Carol said...

And it was nice to have both of our La teams win this weekend. I was worried about the Saints. I never know which team will show up. The good one did this weekend..or at least the better one.

Carol said...

I watched this video of Bill Moyers yesterday. I think it is the only thing other than trivial issues I've listened to in a while.

I always liked Bill Moyers. He makes so much sense. This was a great speech..worth spending a few minutes to listen to.

Carol said...

Coreen..I often listen to sport's talk radio when I'm in my vehicle and I'm not even a real sport's fan. I just like talk radio and it's either sports or farts..ie Rush et al.

It will be nice to listen to some of those guys have to eat their words since their picking Bama to win didn't pan out.

jan said...

Carol, the 2 Norsemen wore those outfits all week (at least in the evening). I think they like our North American holidays. The ski team moved in next door in August. All 4 guys came over and introduced themselves. They did that all over the neighborhood. I think one of the reasons was in case their parties got a little noisy they hoped we would not call police. I think that has happened in past years -never us. The ski team has lived next door for four years when we first moved here and then last year the house was rented to a family. Now the ski team is back and we much prefer them. We gave them a couch we had downstairs and did not need. Then a week before halloween they brought us some tirimisu (cake). So we took them some cookies. They brought the tirimisu in their costumes (not Halloween). When we took them cookies was when I took the pictures. I feel like if we needed any help with anything, they would help. The 2 Norsemen are really the nicest young men. I would adopt them.

jan said...

We love our neighborhood. It is a mixture of older and younger people. A couple of families with young children and 2 80's somethings across the street. It is 3 blocks from medical, law, pharm and nurs schools and the univ hosp and the mental health center. There are 4 houses on our street that rent - mostly grad students or young professionals. If we every wanted to move we would rent our house.

Carol said...

Yep Jan, you have a cool neighborhood.

Carol said...

From what I have heard and read...I think Joe Paterno's career at Penn State is over. If the allegations against Sandusky are true, Paterno's also guilty. I don't think he should get a pass because he passed the info on. And because nothing was done, how many more kids were victimized.

I just don't understand how people can think that this kind of horror can just be sweep under the rug.

I just heard on TV that some guy was accused of sexually assaulting one child here and he had a bond of $250 thou, something that guy couldn't make in a lifetime. Sandusky, with all the allegations against him had only an $100 thou bond.

Anonymous said...

Surely you jest right?!...this was all about
big time college sports & $$$$$...like it or not, they tried to sweep it away so that their
almighty sports program was not compromised...
still will, you have noticed that the AG has very clearly stated that Paterno is in no way
involved & he is certainly not a target of any prosecution....

Its always about money, you know that...it will never change, no matter who protests...the world revolves around money, always did, always will...

Now Pennstate will be making big-time
payouts to the families who will w/o question
sue & settle for $$$....

Anonymous said...

Rob Kardashian just danced quick step & he was really good...& I think he has lost a little of his baby fat as well...

Carol said...

Coreen, I hope it does hit them hard in the pocketbook. It's what they value the most.

Carol said...

I'm just getting started with the dancing but I'll catch up by blasting thru the commercials. Like to do that.

Was waiting for my broccoli to get done. That's gonna be supper. Had a BBQed brisket poboy and fries for lunch. Then the girls got me a ice cream cake for my BD. They also gave me some scratch off tickets and I won almost $60 on them. I never win when I buy them myself.

Carol said...

Dang..Rob did look 100% better tonight. He was up on his toes for a change. He had some rhythm, didn't look stiff. He is the youngest and has that advantage.

Carol said...

I guess I'll have to admit that he's one Kardasian that is starting to grow on me. The rest of his family can all get abducted by aliens. The world would be a better place if they did.

Carol said...

And he does look slimmer.

Carol said...

And Rob is not full of himself like the rest of his clan is.

Anonymous said...

Good for you...really thought you would have hit the casino...I don't buy lottery tickets either, never won...

I had some broccoli tonight too...cold with
red wine vinegar dressing & my big salad too...

Anonymous said...

Pennstate will be more than happy to pay to make it all go away so that it does not effect its donors, sponsors & its 'standing' yada, yada, yada....

It's a giant money making machine...sports all sports & you should know better than me
that football is huge in the south, midwest...from peewee through college, you guys
can fill a stadium with thousands of people to watch football...not that a big a deal here...
now pro football that is another story....

So 2 guys throw themselves on the sword & resign(they really had not choice), will be interesting if the President gets to keep his job...

Sandusky is done, would be surprised if in the end he doesn't plead out to something...

Anonymous said...

Ricki & Derek were superb, forget about Carrie's nitpicking...Good Bruno comes through!!!

Never would have picked her to be so good, but
I think she has become my favorite...She is very graceful, beautiful movements in this waltz...

Hope & Max did a good quick step but I guess
I just don't like her...she was much improved & it went well, but she still is missing something, she has not made the transition to being a dancer....

Carol said...

Do you think Joe will have to go? I can't see how he survives.

Carol said...

I also usually use red wine vinegar on my cooked broccoli but tonight I opted for some lemon juice. Had a craving for it. I'm out of lettuce. I didn't get over to Sams to get my big bucket of organic baby spring greens. I really wanted a salad tonight.

And I did go to the casino Friday night. Felt a little guilty for it so I didn't mention it. I did come home $300 ahead. I was about $700 ahead at one point but was there to forget my worries so I put a good bit of my winnings back in to have more time to forget. If I would have lost money, I would have had more to worry about.

Carol said...

Max is trying to rehabilitate his image.

Hope did look better. Her dress covered her knees. I was thinking last week that she needs to cover up her bent knees. She can't seem to straighten them up enough.

Haven't seem Ricki yet.

Anonymous said...

Yes, Paterno likely will resign, sooner than he probably wants to...but he is 85 or thereabouts so think it is time anyway...the couple of pics of him, he looks frail anyway, so this will be the 'gentle' push to go...

And no matter what the spin is, this does
mar his legacy, no way a reasonable person can believe he didn't know any of this until 2002 I think was when the grad student went to him with the story...& then his reporting it to the AD & 'forgetting' about it, yeah right!!!...

But he is an icon at State College & I'lll bet he has lots of loyal friends there who will do their best to insulate him from it...

By the way, there apparently is a regular press conference there tomorrow (according to a PA reporter on the FAN today) but he doesn't think Paterno will let them grill him about the scandal...we shall see what develops)....
the word is that there is no transparency in Paterno's sports world, he calls all shots & keeps outsiders at bay...well at least until now...

Anonymous said...

How did you miss Ricki & Derek...I really liked their waltz, she has proved a huge surprise to me...

Anonymous said...

By the way, don't know if you still check TM, but in any case, sadly Patsi passed away over the weekend, there are some really great tributes to her...

Anonymous said...

And wow JR & Karina just did a beautiful & graceful waltz too...He has that quality that
makes a dancer as well...

And all the judges just verified that...all 10s.....

Carol said...

OMG. Patsi died? How sad. I think she has been sick though. She mentioned before that she might die before she got Medicare.

Carol said...

I just saw Ricki and Derek. Yes, it was a beautiful dance. They keep complaining about her shoulders but I think she just has high shoulders.

Carol said...

Now, I want to go read TM. I really liked Patsi. I would have really enjoyed hanging with her.

Carol said...

We have Patsi's pic up in our followers.

She came to my rescue a time or two over on the Trail. I remember once, when I was hanging out there, and she was out of pocket and there was some feminist issue that needed an advocate, I tried to step in..thinking..what would Patsi say.

Carol said...

I think I preferred Ricki's dance to JR's. I don't think it was his best. I think the three 10s were a little too high there.

Anonymous said...

Have to always remember I think it is more difficult for the guys, they have to lead as well as do the dance routine...

Derek just makes all his partners look great & he is such a great choreographer that his routines just excel...

Carol said...

Well, I think Len said it all. It's time for Nancy to go home.

Carol said...

I really liked JR's jive!

Anonymous said...

Can't be to soon for me...

I liked all the jives, again JR & Ricki are the top 2...

Wow they just gave JR all tens for the jive as well...

Carol said...

I think JR is safe!

Anonymous said...

5-0 time..

my monday night date...alex o'laughlin/mcgarett, my kinda guy, but I have said that many times...

Carol said...

It seems Patsi died of complications of emphysema. I was looking over some of the comments on TM and found this from her daughter:

"I think you will all appreciate this story – when my mom was slipping into a non-responsive state my aunt asked her a bunch of questions. One was, “Who is the President?” Mom’s answer – “Should’ve been Hillary!”

She kept her sense of humor until the very end.

Anonymous said...

Yes apparently she did & now cue it up to time to stop smoking already...

And over at Facebook there are just so many tributes to her too...

Craig has that bad, stinky habit too...no good can possibly come from continuing...

Carol said...

TG that Michael Jackson trial is finally over. I agree with the verdict. Would have been even more surprised than with CA if the guy got off. I didn't watch much of the trial but got too much just occasionally tuning into HLN..which is somewhat of a habit.

I still can't believe that Doc did something so risky, so outside the standard of care without having a boatload of monitoring equipment as a backup. That might have saved both of them. He was not only a big risk taker..he was an idiot.

And if it wouldn't have been Dr Murray..it would have been someone else. Someone who has to pay a Doc $150 thou a month to put him to sleep every night is in a very bad way. Michael Jackson choreographed his own death IMO.

jan said...

Had a horrible headache last night but managed to watch all the dancing until the end. Ricki and JR are both doing great. JR is a natural dancer. As much as I like Ricki, I think JR should win this.

jan said...

I think the judges were kind of hard on JR last week and that may be why he got all 10's this week.

It is time for Nancy G. to go. I don't even like to watch her dance.

Coreen, I know you don't like Hope Solo but I do and am rootin for her to get to 3rd place because my 10 year old GD loves Hope. GD is the soccer player. She loves playing soccer. We took her out for dinner last Friday and I told her Hope Solo is dancing in DWTS and she is such a little drama queen. She said OMGosh, Hope Solo is my hero. and she did this little eye rolling, shoulder shrugging thing. Her parents don't watch DWTS so she did not know.

jan said...

Sorry to hear about your friend over at the other blog. So sad!

jan said...

"Patsy or Patsi" is a name you don't hear much any longer. John's sister's name is Patricia and they call her Patsy, I have a friend who was once called Patsy and she has asked her friends to now call her Patricia. Hard to break that habit. She does not like the what the name "Patsy" represents. Cannot say I blame her.

Carol said...

Evening folkes. It's between Nancy and Rob and Rob is better but does he have the fan base Nancy has? I'll have to confess that I didn't vote last night. Just didn't care.

Carol said...

If Nancy gets the boot tonight she can enter the action to trash the Penn State Perv coverup.

It's a very sad day for college sports. Very sad that it's become more important than the well being of children. Now what are college sports suppose to be about?? Oh yeah, you said it yesterday Coreen....money.

Anonymous said...

Missed the results, saw Andrea Bocelli sing 'More'...truly a magnificent voice....did see that the voting was correct finally....

As for Pennstate...looks like 'board of trustees' are shocked at the events occuring & is 'appointing a committee' to investigate the
circumstances...so doesn't look like Paterno
loses his job just yet...guess he will coach
the weekend game & likely the rest of the season...

And about the money...reports have
Paterno making in excess of $1 million/year & the university president, who claims 'ignorance' of the extent of the scandal
makes $630,000....gee looks like those hated
1% are not only on wall street...

Anonymous said...

And here's more form state college aka 'happy valley'...

the original prosecutor that chose not to
bring charges in 1998, disappeared several years ago, no body turned up, was declared dead...
former prosecutor of Sandusky disappeared

and the grad student who reported to Paterno
what he saw in the shower in 2002, is currently one of paterno's asst coaches at pennstate....he will be gone too...so will the president, just a matter of when...

Paterno's contract is up after this season so
it will be interesting to see how he winds up
being removed...& if he gets to coach this weekend & beyond...

and looks like more victims are coming forward
as well...

Carol said...

Ouch Coreen..this could be worse than we can imagine and I've watched a lot of crime TV.

And they cut Nancy loose just in the nick of time. She was needed elsewhere. She might even use that to save face.

And I bet that beating judge is on his knees thanking God for Penn State.

Carol said...

They say there were 9 kids who were victims...I bet that's just the tip of the iceberg.

I was wondering what happened to that grad assistant who first reported what he saw.

Anonymous said...

Maureen Dowd does a superb job in today's column what has been happening in 'happy valley'
Personal foul at Penn State"

And supports my cynical view about $$$ in this particular passage....

"Like the Roman Catholic Church, Penn state is an arrogant institution hiding behind its mystique.

And sports, as my former fellow sports columinist at The Washtingon Star, David Israel says, is 'an insular world that protects its own, and operates outside of societal norms as long as victories and cash continue to flow bountifully" Penn State rakes in $70 million a year from its football
program."

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/09/opinion/dowd-personal-foul-at-penn.html?hp

jan said...

I think Nancy was the one to leave this week. Rob was doing better and so was Hope.

jan said...

Coreen, What first comes to mind in reading your above comment about football and church is "Amen." No pun intended.

jan said...

Yes, I too bet the beating judge is saying "whew" to himself. He Dodged a little of that bullet.

Carol said...

Jan, don't think the judge is quite off the hook yet. They had something on HLN about that also this evening.

Good article by Dowd, Coreen. I do hope something good can come out of this. We all need to evaluate our priorities. There is enough going on in the world these days to demonstrate that it's all about money and power whether it be this Penn State scandal, OWS or even the Cain sexual harrasment stories.

Carol said...

I see that Joe P has decided to retire at the end of the season. He decided. He told the Board not to worry their little heads over him or give him another thought. I guess he does run the entire show and that's why he owns the greatest blame for all of this.

And he wants to retire with dignity??? I think it's way too late for that, for most people except for some of the "duhh football" people at his University. They are still saying "Go Joe", beat Nebraska. Kinda embarassing and shameful, if ya ask me.

I've been really impressed with the sport's talk guys and news guys who have almost cried over what has happened here. People's response to this scandal does allow us to see into their hearts and souls, see if they have either.

I keep picturing these idealistic young boys who have been invited to a very significant sporting event, for some, it is probably the first opportunity for something like this in their little deprived lives. An well known, important sport's figure(Sandusky) is bringing them to the game and they feel so privileged and important. And instead of it being the fairy tale they dreamed it would be...it was a nightmare that changed their little lives forever. Some of those poor children thought it was the price they had to pay for the priviledge.

jan said...

The outcome of stuff like this is this kind of thing affects these kids lives in adulthood. I know one man (personally) who was molested as a young boy by a priest at his church and now as a 48 year old he is an alcoholic and he has been attracted to young male teens. He is now registered as a sexual predator. Never involved in a healthy appropriate relationship of any kind.

jan said...

Have been having horrible headaches for 6 days - taking ibuprofen and tylenol around the clock. Saw my doc today - he did a good history - He prescribed Indomethacin 3X a day. This headache takes the top of my head off - feels like it starts in the back of my neck and up my head - it is on my right side - I wonder if it is related to pain in my shoulder. Doc did a neuro exam - all ok there. I don't have any weakness, stumbling or other signs of stroke. No vomiting. It feels like a horrible migraine-without the aura.

Carol said...

What is seriously depressing is the response from many of the Penn State students. They support their coach and think he did all he needed to do.

And we wonder how horrors like the holocaust can happen.

jan said...

As for the scandal at Penn State. I don't think men in general are aware of and sensitive to the kinds of sexual abuse that can be done to kids. When we were living in AR John had a small church he took care of twice a month. It was not an established church but one that had been in several locations and at the time he was taking care of it the church was in a low income part of town. There was one African Amer grandmother that brought several grandchildren with her to church. I was not well acquainted with the people in this church. There was one man who was a member (White) who worked with different youth groups. He had a wife and a disabled young teen daughter. During this time, this guy was driving a van and picking up some of these neighborhood kids and bringing them to church. Well, I began to notice that this guy was always trying to get close to one of these african american boys - about 10 years old. He would sit by the kid in church on a bench and would put his arm over the back of the pew and around the kid. I was sitting behind them and the kid kept moving away from him and the guy would move closer. Before this, I saw this guy pull this kid onto his lap and the kid "wiggled" off. I got so uncomfortable and I kept telling John that I thought this guy was acting inappropriately. John kept trying to shut me up. Finally, after about 3 or 4 Sundays, I told him I had seen enough and I wanted to meet with the Vestry about what I was seeing. John was so pissed at me but I insisted. I met with the vestry and told them what I thought. I told them they needed to stop this guy from having any contact with the kid and not to leave him alone with him under any circumstances. They did and from then on the guy did not sit with the kid or have any contact with him. But I wonder now if that was enough.

jan said...

Of course if you don't see any actual sexual activity, is there anything more you can do?

Carol said...

Jan, indomethacin can be really rough on the stomach. It was the prototype for the NSAIDS. Really not as good as the newer ones. I wouldn't recommend using that medication when there are so many better ones out now even Motrin/ibuprofen.

And it is a red flag when older people develope a severe headache..unless they have had them for years..ie migrines. Maybe you need to have a CT scan just to rule out anything serious.

Carol said...

What you saw with that guy Jan was probably significant. Very likely the guy was a pedophile. And I think it is far more common that anyone realizes. There are most likely many men that won't/can't admit that they were sexually abused as children.

That Sandusky had lots of kids over at his house entertaining them in his basement. He also had many adopted kids. I wonder if his wife knew anything. Can't see how she couldn't have known, he wasn't that careful if he got caught as often as is mentioned in the indictment.

I heard this morning that his daughter in law put out some sort of restraining order against him having any contact with her children. I guess it must have been new news to her.

We have lots of old pervs in our joint. I've seen them out in the waiting room trying to befriend some of the younger male inmates. I want to, but can't tell them to watch out!

Anonymous said...

Just in, Penn State trustees decided...Paterno will not coach another game & the President Spanier is out too...

The fallout will continue though...

jan said...

Carol, I did fill the prescription but I may not take it. It takes little medication for me - I only take 200 mg of Ibuprofen and one extra strength tylenol every 6 hours and that has been working well enough that I can continue my activities.

I may just continue with that and see how things go tomorrow.

I do have migraines. Maybe this is just a really bad migraine.

jan said...

Coreen, did you watch X factor tonight. I liked Melanie Amauro was the best. I also liked the youngest girl, Rachel Crow tonight.

Carol, the girl Coreen and I like is a nursing student in Florida. She is by far the best singer.

jan said...

Messed up that message. Sometimes I will begin a sentence with something and change my mind in mid sentence.

jan said...

...and forget to go back and change something. Too much trouble to make changes.

Carol said...

Jan..I do the very same thing when I'm writing. I used to worry about it but that takes the fun out of writing. Don't worry about it. I don't even notice the mistakes.

Carol said...

Yes..your headache does sound like a migraine. I didn't know you had them. Yuk.

I rarely have these things called visual migraines. No pain but just the aura. It's scary because I get this colorful visual disturbance in one eye that won't go away even if I close my eyes. Fortunately it doesn't last very long and isn't followed by a headache.

Carol said...

Coreen..I don't think the trustees had any other choice. Time wasn't on their side with that game coming up. They did the right thing. It's a very sad day. It is sad that a man that dedicated his life to his career had to end it like this.

Paterno actually could have left with some dignity. He could have stepped down..used it as a mega teaching moment for everyone. He could have admitted that he was in denial..that he did get wrapped up in his loyalty to his University and forgot that there were young children involved who were more important than any institutions or sports.

The students at Penn State really needed that teaching moment because..unfortunately many of the students are demonstrating the very same behavior and values right now that took their coach down. And this is an institution of higher learning? It's like the lights are on but no ones home.

Joe P still has a short window of opportunity to save a tad of dignity for himself and the university. He could come out and make a speech now. Will he take that opportunity??

Carol said...

To be fair..we don't know what percentage of the students at Penn are involved in making a fool out of themselves.

Carol said...

Listening to sports radio, whoda thunk I'd ever be doing that, I've uncovered more details on this Penn State scandal.

This guy named Mark Madden, a sport's writer, actually wrote an article in something called the Beaver County Times exposing this Penn State story back in April of this year. And it's now just hitting the national news???

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2805308/posts

Also this same guy has hinted at a rumor that this story might get a whole lot worse before it's over. There are suppose to be two sport's journalists investigating a story involving Sandusky and that Second Mile organization pimping young boys to rich donors. God I hope that's just a rumor.

Coreen, have you heard anything from your sport's guys?

Anonymous said...

Jan, hope your headaches are getting better & yes I did watch x factor...sticking with Melanie, she is so far above the rest of the
acts, she should win, going away & if she doesn't she should still get a recording deal...& if she doesn't, its rigged....

I did not know she was a nursing student...

I really don't feel much for the rest...the over 30 are the next best, not crazy about the
2 young girls & don't like the guys or the groups at all...

Anonymous said...

The Penn State saga keeps going on sports talk...yes the 'rumor' was mentioned...but
cautiously...

The sports guys are pretty much in sync with the fact that Paterno had to go, yet quite a few callers were supporting him, don't think
he should have been summarily removed, suggesting that he did all he could/should, so
he didn't deserve to be fired...interesting take, mostly from what sounds like older callers to the different shows...

This will haunt PennState for quite awhile & if the rumor winds up with any evidence, whole new ball game so to speak...

For me, nothing would surprise...

I do have sympathy for the current football team, since they have in no way done anything
wrong & this is a major disruption of what was
a very good season for them...whether it effects them for the rest of the season...

As far as the rioters...such shmucks...no sympathy for them at all...seems they got off
pretty easy for their actions...

Carol said...

Those football players need to realize who screwed them. It isn't the victims of this scandal, it isn't the media, it was many of their coaches who screwed them.

It is a state law in most states, maybe all, that anyone who is a witness to or has knowledge of child abuse to report it to the proper authorities, not just their superiors.

It's strange that coach McQueary, who was a witness to a child rape, is still going to be coaching for the game Saturday. Wonder why?? Does he have some type of immunity?

Why didn't it raise a flag when that Sandusky, who was described as a good defensive coach, drops out of coaching in the prime of his coaching career??

Carol said...

I listen to Yahoo Sport's Radio. They have covered this story with great vigor. They haven't cut any slack to any of the sport's figures involved. That surprised me. I only hear a couple of the guys but I have a lot of respect for the ones who I listen to.

Carol said...

It is really weird that I actually listen to sport's radio since I'm not the sport's fan that you are Coreen. I can only listen to it while driving which doesn't last that long since it's only a short trip home. Often, I'm still wanting to hear what they are talking about when I arrive home but can't get their show on my radio in the house.

A couple of weeks ago I found that they have podcasts online so I come in and listen to some of their shows on my laptop and I can wait until I have the time to do it.

Carol said...

As I was getting ready for bed tonight I was listening to the last hour of the Travis Rogers show on Yahoo Sports Radio. He was reading an email that sound very familiar and then I realized it was the email I sent him this morning and he thanked me for the email.

Can you believe that? I was on Sport's radio today. Dang..I'm glad I listened to the entire program. He actually used what I had to say to start his final hour talk.
