What is real: in the world of blogging?

I was just thinking of what I can say that would take out a little bit of the sting that Ivy is feeling. I don't know her friend, but it is enough that she knows her, for me to sympathize.

I think that is an unexpected side effect that blogging does to us. We get to know each other for a little while, but then become good friends. This type of blog world is not any different, sometimes, than the real world. We get to know each other, little by little, and then at some point we are feeling the same things (as if we knew each other in the flesh).

Strange, this blogging world: that can bring so many diverse people together, that would never have known each other in the real world. I feel that this is part of my real world now!! I feel the happiness and the sadness of all 'here' at the swamp.
